Chag Kasher V’Sameach: Wishes for a Happy And Kosher Passover Holiday

Written by Marty Roberts on April 12, 2006 – 9:53 am -

May we merit to experience the Final Redemption and the coming of the Messiah duirng THIS Passover season, this season of Redemption for the Jewish People…

We will spend the nexte 36 hours or so preparing for and enjoying the Passover Holiday and its Seder with our family, hoping that when we open the door tonight, Elijah the Prophet will be standing there to announce the coming of the Messiah and the Final Redemption.

It is written in the talmud, in the folio of Sanhedrin, that if you are engaged in planting a tree in Eretz Yisrael and Elijah arrives to announce the imminient arrival of the Messiah, first, finish planting your tree, then, prepare to greet the Messiah…

Tonight, as we celebrate the Pesach Seder, when Elijah arrives, we will complete the Seder, including our family joining in all the traditional songs, Chad Gadyah, Echad Mi Yodayah, Adir Hu…After we finish our four cups of wine, eat the afikomen and sing the songs, THEN and only then will we all go out and greet the Messiah…

May He arrive speedily in our days!

Be back with more after the Passover holiday, G-d willing…
