Has the Islamic Vote Become Sooooo Important in Great Britain?
Written by Marty Roberts on March 24, 2010 – 11:02 am -British officials, facing general elections soon, are willing to throw one of their close allies, Israel, under the bus. Word has it that the UK security agents are none too happy about interfering with cooperation with Israeli security when it comes to fighting world Islamic terrorism, a major threat to the Brits as well as the Israelis…

A photograph released by the Dubai police in February shows the British passport of one of the 26 suspects …
Gov’t kicks out Israeli diplomat in passport row
The government has kicked out an Israeli diplomat over the “intolerable” use of fake British passports in the killing of a Hamas chief, in a sharp escalation of tension over the murder.
Reprinted from AFP
Israel’s Foreign Minister Avigdor Lieberman said he was “very disappointed” by the expulsion on Tuesday, but a senior official said the Jewish state would not retaliate.Foreign Secretary David Miliband said there were “compelling reasons” to suggest that Israel was behind the forgeries used by the team which killed Mahmud al-Mabhuh in Dubai in January.
“I’ve asked that a member of the embassy of Israel be withdrawn from the UK as a result of this affair and this is taking place,” he told lawmakers.
“There are compelling reasons to believe that Israel was responsible for the misuse of the British passports… The government takes this matter extremely seriously. Such misuse of British passports is intolerable.”
The foreign secretary declined to specify the position of the expelled diplomat, but reports in the Times and Telegraph said the individual was a senior Mossad agent, without citing sources.
The person was believed to be the Israeli spy agency’s station chief in London, said the papers.
A spokeswoman for the Foreign Office declined to comment on the reports.
Mossad has been widely blamed for the assassination of the Hamas chief but Israel maintains there is no proof for this claim.
Hamas hailed the expulsion and said it hoped Israeli leaders would eventually be brought to trial over the case.
Dubai police in February released photographs and names of European passport holders alleged to have been members of the hit squad.
The suspects used the identities of 12 people from Britain, as well as people from Australia, France, Germany and Ireland. Interpol has issued arrest notices for 27 suspects wanted by Dubai in connection with the killing.
Also Tuesday, a French prosecutor announced an investigation into the use of four fake French passports in the Hamas hit.
And in Berlin, a spokesman from the federal prosecutor’s office said a probe had been launched more than a month ago into a fake German passport used in the murder.
Prime Minister Gordon Brown’s spokesman said the Israeli diplomat had technically been “asked to withdraw” from Britain, adding that he had been given two weeks to leave.
The announcement came after Israeli ambassador Ron Prosor was called in again to the Foreign Office on Monday, and briefed on the results of an investigation by the Serious Organized Crime Agency (SOCA).
Miliband said SOCA had established that 12 British passport holders identified by Dubai police were “wholly innocent victims of identity theft”.
The passports were copied “when handed over for inspection to individuals linked to Israel, either in Israel or in other countries”, he said.
“Given that this was a very sophisticated operation in which high-quality forgeries were made, the government judges it is highly likely that the forgeries were made by a state intelligence service,” he said.
Miliband met Lieberman in Brussels on Monday and asked for a formal pledge that in future “the state of Israel would never be party to the misuse of British passports in such a way”, he said.
Lieberman said in a statement that while he wanted to maintain cordial relations with London, “no proof of Israeli involvement in this affair has been provided to us.”
Meanwhile a senior Israeli official told AFP that the priority was to “calm things down”.
“We have no intention of expelling a British diplomat in response to London’s decision,” the official said, asking not to be identified.
The Foreign Office has amended its official travel advice for Israel, warning British visitors about the risk to their passports and identities.
Relations between Britain and Israel were strained even before the passport row, notably after a London court issued an arrest warrant for former Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni.
Livni reportedly cancelled a trip to Britain in December for fear of being arrested under the warrant, issued over her role in Israel’s 22-day war against the Hamas-rule Gaza Strip launched at the end of 2008.
Israel is also embroiled in a separate row with another ally, the US, after the Jewish state announced plans for the construction of settler homes in east Jerusalem while American Vice President Joe Biden was visiting the country.

Israel is Switching to Daylight Savings Time This Week
Written by Marty Roberts on March 24, 2010 – 10:43 am -Israel switches to daylight savings time tomorrow night (between Thursday and Friday, March 25-26). Ahhh, those long Spring and Summer days return. Great that the switch saves electricity, but it sure makes it tough to wake up for morning prayers for awhile!
Manufacturers: Clock change saves NIS 100m
Manufacturers Association’s Nava Sela: Israel has one of the shortest periods of Daylight Savings Time in the world
Reprinted from Globes.co.il Merav Ankori
Israeli households will save NIS 16 million in electricity bills during the 170 days of summer (daylight savings) time this year, the Manufacturers Association of Israel said today. Daylight Savings Time will come into effect at 2 am on Friday, March 26, when the clocks will be moved forward one hour.Manufacturers Association energy committee chairwoman Nava Sela said that Israel has one of the shortest periods of Daylight Savings Time in the world. The US has 239 days of summer time, and Europe has 218 days.
A study by the Manufacturers Association claims that the Israeli economy will save NIS 100 million from Daylight Savings Time this year, including NIS 51 million in savings on electricity bills.
Sela says that most of the electricity savings come from an average 0.6% reduction in daily electricity use for lighting and air conditioning. Additional savings come from increased employee output and productivity, improved employee welfare and quality of life, longer sales hours at stores and malls, and fewer road accidents.
Daylight Savings Time begins each year on the last Friday before April 2, and runs through 2 am on the Sunday between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.

British Politicians Are Looking to Gain Votes by Expelling an Israeli Mossad Man From London Over the Dubai Assassination
Written by Marty Roberts on March 23, 2010 – 5:24 pm -What a cheap shot at vote-getting for the British elections…And what a sorry state of affairs it is that a candidate can garner votes in Great Britain, a Western democracy, by trying to humiliate Israel, another Western democracy and close ally.
The absurdity is heightened when you realize that if, indeed, it WAS Israel that eliminated the arch-terrorist Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai, it ws probably almost as great a service for the Brits as the Israelis. They have relied upon cooperation with Israeli security agencies in the past in our mutual war on terror, and will continue to need Israeli cooperation in the future. This might be a classic “cut off your nose to spite your face” scenario for Great Britain.
By the way, the Mossad should be receiving an international award if they WERE the ones taking out the terrorist trash in Dubai…but we’ll never know now, will we?
Britain to expel Mossad’s man in London over Dubai assassination
Mossad’s representative at the Israel embassy in London is being expelled over the use of cloned British passports in the killing of a senior Hamas commander in Dubai
Reprinted from Telegraph.co.uk Rosa Prince
A government official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to comment ahead of the statement, says Britain will expel one Israeli diplomat. Sources disclosed that the individual is Mossad’s London representative.Ron Proser, the Israeli Ambassador to London, was summoned to the Foreign Office on Monday to be told the results of an inquiry into the murder of Mahmoud al-Mabhouh, whose body was discovered in a luxury Dubai hotel room on January 20.
Several members of the team suspected of killing him were found to be travelling on passports cloned from documents belonging to British citizens living in Israel. Other passports had been stolen from Irish, German, Australian and French citizens.
A senior Israeli diplomat would be expelled as a mark of the “anger” within the Government that British passport holders had been put at risk as a result of the operation.
Mr Miliband has pulled out of an event at the Israeli Embassy this afternoon, where he was due to be the guest of honour at a “housewarming party” to mark the the opening of its new building in Kensington, central London.
A ministerial statement to be made to Parliament on Tuesday will formally name the Israeli security services as responsible for the cloning of up to 15 British passports, which were copied after being taken away by airport officials.
The statement will say that it proved impossible to confirm definitively whether Mossad, the Israeli secret intelligence service, was responsible for the operation, with suspicion also resting on the Military Intelligence Directorate.
But the probe had determined for certain that the passports were cloned when British citizens passed through airports on their way into Israel, with officials taking them away for “checks” which lasted around 20 minutes.
Foreign Office sources expressed frustration that there was little more that could be done to “punish” Israel over the affair.
A number of those whose passports were stolen had dual British and Israeli nationality.
They include Gabriella Barney, 23, and her father Michael, 54, along with Daniel Marc Schnur, 32, Roy Allan Cannon, 62, Stephen Keith Drake, 54, Mark Daniel Sklar, 30, and Philip Carr, 35.
A number of the innocent passport holders have expressed concern and upset that their identities were used for the assassination of a senior Hamas commander, which was carried out by a team of at least 23 operatives.
Israel has refused to confirm or deny any involvement in the audacious murder, insisting that it has a “policy of ambiguity”.
The suspects, including a number of women, were filmed on security cameras strolling through hotel lobbies disguised as tourists wearing tennis clothes.
They followed al-Mabhouh to his hotel room, where he was found suffocated hours later.

Fatah Dedicated a Municipal Square After A Mass Murderer of Innocents…This is NOT the Act of a Peace Partner of Israel
Written by Marty Roberts on March 23, 2010 – 2:33 pm -I guess everyone was just too busy tongue-clicking, tsk-tsking and finger-wagging at Israel to notice this event involving Israel’s “peace partner”, the Fatah government of the Palestinian Authority, led by “moderate” leader Mahmoud Abbas.
Maybe it was intentional, given that Hillary Clinton, in her address to AIPAC yesterday, referred to the event as:
“When a Hamas-controlled municipality glorifies violence and renames a
square after a terrorist who murdered innocent Israelis, it insults the
families on both sides who have lost loves ones over the years in this
conflict.”
Only problem is, the municipality AND governing body is controlled by Abbas’s Fatah…Not a Hamas official in sight at the ceremony.
If the US is to be trusted as a third-party broker of peace in the negotiations between Israel and the palestinians, they better start acting AT LEAST impartial. The palestinians have already committed several times to stopping anti-Israel incitement and violence. According to the US, what the palestinians are doing is just fine. According to a reasonably intelligent, thinking person, it would seem otherwise.
Dedicating a municipal square in the name of a mass-murderer of innocent civilians is not an acceptable act by MY peace partner, and I would expect the US, as a third-party intermediary, to make this abundantly clear. They might even declare the Palestinian Authority as being in non-compliance with previously signed agreements…several of them.
But then again, Israel IS building apartments for Israeli citizens in Jerusalem, the capital of Israel…

“On the anniversary of the Coastal Road Operation we renew our commitment and our oath that we uphold the charge and that we will not stray from the path of the Shahids ”
Fatah holds ceremony naming square after terrorist
Move comes despite PA announcement it had postponed inauguration of square named after Dalal Mughrabi, who led 1978 Coastal Road massacre in which 37 Israeli were killed.Despite the Palestinian Authority’s announcement that it had postponed the inauguration of a square in el-Bireh named after Dalal Mughrabi, the Fatah woman who led the 1978 Coastal Road massacre in which 37 Israeli civilians and an American photographer were killed, and 71 were wounded, Fatah officials on Thursday evening went ahead with the ceremony.
In addition, the PA on Sunday launched a seminar named after Mughrabi. The four-day seminar, called “Martyr Dalal Mughrabi Camp,” is being held in Jericho under the auspices of the PA’s Military Science Academy. Its main goal is to discuss the legislative and local elections in the PA territories.

Fatah officials celebrated popular inauguration of terrorist square
Senior Fatah officials joined Fatah youth movement
in “popular inauguration” ceremony for terrorist squareSenior Fatah official: Inauguration was postponed
due to “technical reasons,” not Israeli pressure
Reprinted from Palestinian Media Watch
by Itamar Marcus and Nan Jacques Zilberdik
Although world pressure forced the Palestinian Authority to cancel the official ceremonies to name a square after the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi last week, several senior Fatah officials participated in a “popular inauguration” organized by Fatah’s youth movement. According to the PA, the square is now named after Mughrabi and an official ceremony, including placing a monument, will take place at a later date. Thursday’s “popular inauguration” was on the 32nd anniversary of “the Coastal Road Massacre” of 1978, in which 37 were murdered in a bus hijacking.Among the senior Fatah officials participating in the popular inauguration were Tawfiq Tirawi, member of the Fatah Central Committee and former head of the PA Police in the West Bank, and Jamal Huweil, a Fatah member of Palestinian Parliament from Fatah.
Trying to minimize the impact of world pressure on the PA, Adnan Al-Dumeiri, spokesman for the PA Security Apparatus, announced at the “popular inauguration” that the official inauguration was postponed “due to technical reasons and not because of Israel’s request.”
Fatah spokesman Dr. Faiz Abu Aytah called terrorist Dalal Mughrabi “a symbol in the history of our national struggle” and emphasized “the right of Fatah, of the Palestinian Authority, and of the Palestinian people to celebrate the anniversary of her [Mughrabi's] Martyrdom.”
These statements were among a series of PA statements and events meant to emphasize and reinforce the message to the Palestinian population that Dalal Mughrabi, in spite of the international condemnation, is still to be glorified as a Palestinian hero and honored as a Martyr.
The following are statements made by Fatah officials and reports in the official PA papers supporting the “popular inauguration” of the terrorist square:
“The Palestinian Authority yesterday postponed its inauguration of a square named after the self-sacrificing Dalal Mughrabi in the town of El-Bireh, in the wake of an official Israeli protest, but this did not prevent tens of youth from inaugurating [the square] in a popular fashion…
Members of the El-Bireh council, who requested anonymity, said that the inauguration of the square had been postponed after the senior PA personnel received a message from the Israeli government…
Adnan Al-Dumeiri, a spokesman for the security apparatus, said that the inauguration of the junction had been postponed ‘for technical reasons, not in the wake of a request by Israel.’ He added, ‘Neither Israel nor any other body is able to prevent us from taking pride in our history.’
Siham Barghouti, Minister of Culture, told Agence France Presse: ‘It is our right to honor our Shahids (Martyrs) and to name our streets after the Shahida (Martyr) Dalal Mughrabi on the anniversary of her martyrdom, and this is an inalienable right of the Palestinian people.’
Tens of young men and women gathered at the junction at the hour when the official inauguration was to have taken place, bearing pictures of Dalal Mughrabi, in the presence of senior Fatah personnel.
Mustafa Abu Rabi’a, one of the senior Fatah personnel in Ramallah and El-Bireh, said: ‘Today is the popular inauguration of the junction named after the Shahida (Martyr) Dalal Mughrabi…’
Jamal Huweil, a Fatah member of the Palestinian Parliament (Legislative Council), who was at the square, said that the fact that Israel prevented the naming of the junction after Dalal Mughrabi represented ‘impertinent and unacceptable intervention’.
Tawfiq Tirawi, a member of the Fatah Central Committee, said: ‘We shall not submit to any threats, and we are here today to celebrate our history and our battle in naming the square after Mughrabi.’ A large boulder with Dalal Mughrabi’s name on it was to have been placed at the junction, but it was not delivered yesterday. Giant photographs of Dalal Mughrabi were hung at the junction, located close to the Political Guidance headquarters.”
[Al-Hayat Al-Jadida, March 12, 2010]Headline: “In response to what Netanyahu calls incitement – Fatah: We are proud of Dalal Mughrabi, and she is a great symbol in the history of our national struggle”
“Fatah spokesman, Dr. Faiz Abu Aytah, said that the Israeli Prime Minister’s words concerning what he referred to as acts of incitement on the part of the Palestinian Authority, were said as part of the twisting of facts and the fabrications against the [Palestinian] Authority…Abu Aytah responded to statements by the Israeli Minister of Information, who described the Shahida (Martyr) Dalal Mughrabi as a terrorist. Concerning the intention of the Palestinian Authority to inaugurate a square named after [Dalal Mughrabi] in Ramallah, he said: ‘The Shahida (Martyr) Dalal Mughrabi is a symbol in the history of our national struggle, and the Palestinian people is proud of her sacrifice. Likewise, Fatah is proud of Dalal’s affiliation with it as a movement of national liberation which is continually innovating new methods of struggle.’ He emphasized: ‘It is the right of Fatah, of the Palestinian Authority, and of the Palestinian people to celebrate the anniversary of her Martyrdom in a manner that is worthy of her, as a heroine, a commander who fought with honor against an occupation army. It is our right to eternalize her name; we do not wait for anyone’s approval to emphasize our loyalty to the Shahids (Martyrs).’”

Arab Citizens of Israel…More First Class Benefits
Written by Marty Roberts on March 23, 2010 – 2:03 pm -Israeli Arab citizens second class citizens? I don’t think so.
In fact, in some ways the JEWISH Israelis are discriminated against in favor of the Arabs.
For instance, in my community, Beduin families, Muslim Beduin families freely buy homes and move in to my neighborhood. In the surrounding Beduin cities, one of which is less than 500 yards from my home, nary a Jew to be found. They would not dare. The protests, threats and violence would be unbelievable, as previous attempts by Jews to move in to “Arab” cities in Israel have proven.
Nevertheless, the government of Israel continues to take international abuse from all quarters as being racist, discriminatory and apartheid…
Israeli minister: New fund to benefit Arabs
An Israeli Cabinet minister says a new government fund for the Arab sector could go a long way toward improving relations between the country’s Jews and Arabs
Reprinted from Businessweek.com
Avishai Braverman, the minister for minority affairs, said Monday the $214 million fund will boost economic growth and help make up for past discrimination against Israeli Arabs. The Cabinet approved the fund Sunday. The money will be pumped into 10 Arab municipalities to create jobs, build new homes, improve public transportation and beef up security.
Arabs make up about 20 percent of Israel’s population. Their towns have frequently suffered from lower budgets than their Jewish counterparts.
Braverman said tapping into the Arab sector could bring tremendous economic benefit to Arabs and the country as a whole.

In Light of Her Recent Actions and Statements, Hillary Clinton Has No Business Addressing AIPAC
Written by Marty Roberts on March 22, 2010 – 5:30 pm -Hillary and the US show their true colors…
With friends like these, who needs enemies? Ramp up pressure on your best friend and ally? This is supposed to achieve a real and lasting peace? With the enemies of Israel that are launching missiles, rockets and bullets at Israeli citizens on a daily basis?
Thanks to the “Obama Intifada”, the Arabs have felt free to riot and attack Jewish civilians, soldiers and policemen every day for weeks now. They can taste blood, drawn by, of all people, the American administration. US actions and statements have forced the Israeli security forces to fight back against the Arab insurgency, which has led to the death of those same rioting Arabs.
It would not be inappropriate for the true supporters of Israel, who I hope are the attendees at the AIPAC meeting right now in America, to all stand up and walk out as Hillary begins to address the gathering.
Judging by her recent statements and actions, at the present time, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and her boss, President Obama are NOT friends of Israel. They have no business addressing AIPAC…
Clinton: Decision to escalate row with Israel ‘is paying off’
U.S. Secretary of State says pressure over East Jerusalem construction could restart negotiations.
Reprinted from Haaretz.com
United States Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Friday that the Obama administration’s decision to ramp up pressure on Israel over construction of Jewish homes in East Jerusalem was bringing results. In an interview with BBC television, Clinton was asked whether escalating the tone with Israel had paid off.
She said: “I think we’re going to see the resumption of the negotiation track and that means that it is paying off because that’s our goal.”
Over the past two weeks Israel has sought to cool American ire over plans for 1,600 new homes in Ramat Shlomo, a Jewish neighborhood that lies beyond the Green Line in East Jerusalem.
Clinton had described the announcement, which coincided with a visit to Israel by U.S. Vice President Joe Biden and led Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to pull out of scheduled U.S.-mediated peace talks, as an “insult”.
It was now the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s duty to overcome opposition within his coalition government and ensure that the stalled negotiations moved forward, Clinton told the BBC.
“I think what the prime minister has said repeatedly is that his government and he personally are committed to pursuing these negotiations and he just has to make sure that he brings in everyone else,” she said.
“That’s his responsibility and it’s not something that the United States can or is interested in doing.”
Over the past few days the U.S has signaled its desire to move beyond the row over Ramat Shlomo and focus on restarting so-called the ‘proximity talks’ between Israel and the Palestinians.
Palestinian officials told The Associated Press on Friday that it appeared unlikely Abbas would defy mounting international pressure for a return negotiations.
Israel also seems willing to return to the negotiating table.
At a news conference later Friday following a meeting of the Quartet of Middle East peace mediators in Moscow, Clinton indicated that Netanyahu is ready to address U.S. concerns.
“What I heard from the prime minister in response to the requests we made was useful and productive,” she said.
In a telephone call to Netanyahu last week, Clinton laid out U.S. expectations from Israel including a rollback to the housing plan, a gesture of good faith to the Palestinians and an express statement that all issues dividing Israel and the Palestinians, including the fate of divided Jerusalem, remain part of the negotiations.
Clinton said she expects to see Netanyahu in Washington next week, where both are to address the annual gathering of the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.
President Obama had planned to be out of town during Netanyahu’s visit but canceled his trip to remain in Washington for a vote on his health care overhaul.

Try to Imagine What It Would be Like…Rockets and Missiles are Falling Daily on Southern Israel
Written by Marty Roberts on March 22, 2010 – 8:59 am -Rockets and missiles are falling on Israel EVERY DAY!! Do you understand what that means? These are not little firecrackers. These are not rocks and bottles. These are lethal ROCKETS AND MISSILES! People are being killed. It is expected that Israel will accept as part of our daily life the rain of ordnance upon our heads.
Can YOU imagine this happening in YOUR neighborhood?
How about just ONE lethal rocket falling out of the sky and whistling into the playground of your childrens’ or grandchildren’s pre-school?
What measures would you expect your government to take?
How would you feel if the world and the UN condemned YOU for taking action against those that were threatening your families?
How would you feel if the animals launching the rockets at you day after day were depicted by the world as the victims, not the murderers that they are? Aid convoys and millions of YOUR tax dollars funneled to exactly those same rocket-launching terrorists?
Might you want to do something to stop the flow of supplies for rocket-making into the area (a blockade of sorts, if you will)?
Would you understand it if, occasionally, while striking those that are shooting missiles at your children, once in a while, an innocent civilian or two on the other side was injured, or even killed? Would you understand this and, sorrowfully, accept this as a fact of life, given the evil surrounding you?
Try to imagine, just try to imagine…This is the daily reality of southern Israel…My home…and pray that it NEVER happens to you,,,

Qassam hits south of Ashkelon
No injuries or damage reported as rocket fire emanating from Gaza continues. ‘Terror groups taking advantage of PM’s trip to US,’ local council head says
Reprinted from YNet News Shmulik Hadad
A Qassam rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists in north Gaza Sunday night landed south of Ashkelon. There were no reports of injury or damage. The rocket landed in an open area within the Ashkelon Beach Regional Council’s limits.
“When they say that the rocket exploded in an open area, from our standpoint it is a field in which farmers work. Therefore, such attacks should be dealt with just as any direct hit on a house,” council head Yair Farjun said.
“I assume the groups that are firing the rockets are taking advantage of the fact our hands our somewhat tied because Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is in the US for meetings. It is not my place to give the security establishment advice – it has proven that it knows what to do against the Palestinian organizations,” he said.
Ashkelon’s Deputy Mayor Shlomo Cohen, formerly a senior official with the Shin Bet security service, said, “We are witnessing a deterioration whereby the rockets are getting closer and closer to Ashkelon. This merely validates our fears and demands for the fortification of educational institutions.”
On Saturday four rockets emanating from the Hamas-ruled coastal enclave landed in open areas in Israel’s Negev region. Another Qassam landed in Palestinian territory near the Kissufim Crossing.
Saturday saw a rocket land near a kibbutz located within Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council limits. There were no injuries or damage, but the IDF retaliated with strikes on a Hamas facility near the defunct airport in south Gaza. The Palestinians said 14 people were injured, among them two seriously.
United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon crossed into Gaza Sunday morning as part of a regional tour aimed at reviving the Middle East peace process.
Ban was met on the other side of the border by a small group of people waving Palestinian flags. “I’ll go to Gaza to express my solidarity with the plight of the Palestinian people there and to underscore the need to end the blockade,” Ban told reporters on Saturday. He added that the siege was causing “unacceptable human suffering”.
During his meeting with President Shimon Peres Saturday evening, Ban called on Hamas to release Gilad Shalit, and Peres thanked him for scheduling a meeting with the kidnapped soldier’s Shalit’s parents. The UN chief also called on the Palestinians to end rocket attacks from Gaza, while urging Israel to lift the Gaza blockade.

Anti-Semitism Rears It’s Ugly Head in Russia…and nobody seems to be doing anything about it!!!

The Moscow Bureau for Human Rights is reporting alarming increases in ant-semitism and xenophobia in Russia. What does it mean?
Why aren’t the authorities taking action?
Why aren’t the JEWS taking action?
Is this (G-d forbid) “been there, done that” again? (remember the early 1900′s, anybody???)
The 10 Plagues of Egypt Strike Again???!!!

What if YOUR next-door neighbor decided to fly the Nazi flag in his backyard?
Why can’t we do something about THIS???
Where does freedom end, and anarchy begin???
Just how much do we have to put up with in the name of democracy??

Animal Rights in Israel and in Judaism
Written by Marty Roberts on March 21, 2010 – 4:40 pm -A classic post and podcast from the archives!!!
Marty Roberts explains what this holiday is all about…Why do we celebrate Purim?…What are the laws and customs of Purim?…Is there any relevance to the Jewish exile of today?…There’s lots of hamantaschen, costumes and wine drinking, but there’s a LOT more than that…Also…Jewish exile by choice…Is (was) it OK?…Plus…Who is Amalek?…Who WAS Amalek?…
All this and MORE…
The Israeli Supreme Court says “never again” to goose-fattening…too inhumane…What DOES Jewish Law say about animal rights?…Whose life gets the “right-of-way”, according to Judaism?…
And…Good pita-Bad PETA…Marty explains the difference…Hint:The best way to make a sandwich vs. a wacko, far-out extremist animal-rights organization…Ingrid NewKirk, PETA president, comes out with some pretty far-out (and untrue) statements in Bethlehem…
Plus….Cats in the cross hairs…Maybe THIS is what’s needed to raise protest against daily palestinian missile attacks against Israeli towns and villages..All this and MORE…<

GOOD Pita…

The modern, hi-tech method of engineering a proper sandwich…
How can a four-sided, breached-at-the-seam white bread sandwich compare to this modern marvel?
YUMMY!!!
(and VERY healthy, too)
BAD PETA…

The bring new meaning to the word “wacko”…
Their leader, Ingrid Newkirk MUST be brain damaged if she believes that Islam is opposed to keeping and eating animals…
She seems to have mixed up her religions…
I don’t think that Gandhi was a Moslem, was he?
And let’s not even get started with outrage over a palestinian missile hitting a cat instead of its intended target…Jewish humans!
Fattening a Goose

Don’t know if this is really good for either the goose OR the gander…
But it sure does make for some fine liver-eating, doesn’t it?
