The main ceremonies are held at the Western Wall and at the Mount Herzl National Cemetery in Jerusalem, but you will find memorial services at every cemetery and in every city and town plaza throughout Israel…
Tomorrow, the sorrow will be replaced by joy, as the Independence Day festivities begin, but for now, all of Israel is united in contemplative sadness, pondering our past…and thinking about our future…
