The holiest day in the Jewish calendar…
Jews around the world will be spending the next 25+ hours pleading for their lives…their health, their prosperity…
Praying that The Creator will grant them another year of life in the coming year…
Most Jews Will Be Spending Most of the Day Like This…
Praying in synagogues around the world…
Trying to harness the power of communal prayer to find favor in the eyes of The Master of the Universe…
But Some Will Be Spending Their Time Doing OTHER Things…
Taking advantage of the empty roads to try out their bikes, roller blades and skateboards…
And about 200 of these kids will be injured and need treatment by the Jewish Ambulance Corps, Magen David Adom
A Rare Sight on a Jewish Festival
On most Jewish festivals, the way we celebrate is by eating and drinking…
Not on THIS Holy Day, when we attempt to reach the spiritual level of the angels, free of the material needs of our bodies…
Oh, well…
We can try, can’t we???

This is how we end this holy day of prayer, reflection and repentance…
