If cost is a problem, here might be one solution. El Al is a national airline so why doesn’t the Israeli government cut the air fair by 50% — Israel will certainly recoup the other 50% when Jews go there (restaurants, hotels, tours,etc.)

Maybe…but I don’t know if the economics would really support that…At any rate, if you were to ask me, I don’t think that the air fare is THE major stumbling block…
