Peres is scheduled to receive the Highest civilian honor granted by the United States, the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
Prior to the awards ceremony, armed with petitions holding close to 100,000 signatures from across the spectrum of politics, arts, humanities and professions, with wall-to-wall support in the U.S Congress, Peres will request yet again the release of Jonathan Pollard from prison.
Pollard has served close to 27 years of a lifetime sentence for passing security secrets to an American ally…a crime fro which the median sentence is 2 to 4 years…
Will today be the day?…
We can only hope and pray…
