The Pope also visited Auschwitz as a German, not just as the head of the Catholic Church…
Auschwitz Women’s Orchestra
Gustav Mahler’s niece, Alma Rosé , who was forced to conduct the women’s orchestra in the Auschwitz concentration camp.

The story of the Auschwitz Women’s orchestra was originally made famous in the book, “Playing for Time”, more than 27 years ago…
