The Gaza Flotilla is on a Humanitarian Mission?…I Don’t Think So

Written by Marty Roberts on July 4, 2011 – 9:19 am -

If they were REALLY concerned only about getting needed supplies to Gaza, and not just with stirring up conflict with the Israeli authorities and hatred towards the Israeli Jews, why would the “humanitarian activists” refuse the offer of the Greek government to ship all of the so-much-needed supplies to Gaza?

The leopard has so clearly revealed it’s stripes…Why does the world not see this?
At least the Greek and Turkish governments seems to have come to their senses with their respective legal actions succeeding in stopping the the sailing of this abomination…at least for now…
Kol Ha Kavod (congratulations, and thank you), Greece and Turkey!…

Flotilla activists reject Greek offer to ship aid to Gaza

Harbor-bound pro-Palestinian activists say Athens’ offer to deliver aid to Strip a scheme concocted in cahoots with Israel

Reprinted from ynetnews.com

Participants of the Gaza-bound flotilla claimed Sunday that Greece’s offer to ferry their humanitarian aid cargo to the Strip through the Ashdod or El Arish ports, in coordination with the United Nations, was a fraud.

The activists rejected the offer, calling it “a fraud that aims to preserve Israel’s blockade on Gaza.”

Earlier Sunday, Athens – whose authorities have so far prevented any vessel associated with the flotilla from leaving its ports to Gaza – stated that “Greece reiterates its willingness and proposes to undertake the task of transporting the humanitarian aid, with Greek vessels or other appropriate means, through the existing channels…

“To this avail, Greece will come into immediate and direct contact with the UN and all the concerned parties, in order to render the mission feasible on behalf of our country.”

Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou has reportedly called Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to discuss the latest developments in the Palestinian arena and the efforts to restart the peace talks with Israel, as well as convey Athens’ offer.

Members of the “flotilla coalition” said the offer was the result of the two’s conversation, and slammed Abbas for “stabbing us in the back.”

The activists further quoted a 2008 statement by the Palestinian president suggesting that any attempt to breach the blockade was “a foolish game.” They claimed that Abbas said at the time that since all vessels entering Gaza undergo security checks, they can hardly be seen as “breaching the siege.”

Meanwhile, the American passengers of the “Audacity of Hope,” which was prevented from sailing to the Gaza Strip on Saturday, have declared a hunger strike and staged a protest outside the US Embassy in Athens.

Some activists also marched on the Israeli Embassy in the Greek capital and together with local pro-Palestinian Greek activists staged a protest rally.

Protesters were reportedly shouting “Free Palestine,” “Stop the occupation,” and “Lift the Gaza siege.” One of the American protesters described the atmosphere as “very supportive.”

Members of the various organizations taking part in the flotilla said that would try to set sail again on Monday.

Former Israeli Dror Feiller, who is among the flotilla’s organizers, said that “there are still surprises to come. We intend to set sail soon. If the Greek want to stop us – let them stop up. We won’t stop trying.”

Hundreds of Syrians are massing on the country’s border with Turkey, ready to cross over if the army moves further into the area after seizing the town of Jisr al-Shughour.

Syrian military sources have told the BBC the army is now planning to move to the nearby town of Maarat al-Numan.

The UN says more than 5,000 people are staying in makeshift refugee camps on the Turkish side of the border, with another 5,000 reported to have entered Turkey unofficially.

Death Threats Against a Young Israeli Musician By the Organizers of the “Peace Flotilla” to Gaza…Peace?…I Don’t think So

Written by Marty Roberts on June 12, 2011 – 4:13 pm -

If any of you are still deluding yourselves that the “flotillas” coming with the “humanitarian” mission to break Israel’s blockade of the terrorists in Gaza have anything whatsoever to do with peace…

Please, think again…

Death threats against an Israeli musician by the organizers of the latest flotilla?
Can this have ANYTHING whatsoever to do with peace?
Can anybody involved with these violent assaults on international law and Israel’s sovereignty truly call themselves a “peace activist”?

Israeli musician cancels Istanbul concert

Death threats, allegedly from flotilla-organizing IHH, lead Yuval Ron to cancel performance in Turkey.

Reprinted from jpost.com

Death threats, allegedly from the Turkish NGO that helped organize the 2010 Gaza protest flotilla, led to the cancellation of a concert in Istanbul by Oscar-winning Israeli musician Yuval Ron, Turkish newspaper Hurriyet reported on Friday.

The IHH Humanitarian Relief Foundation has denied making the threats, but confirmed that it did oppose the holding of the concert.

Ron, the leader of a musical ensemble that includes Muslim, Jewish and Christian artists, told Hurriyet on Friday, “I am very sorry, I had to cancel the concert because of the safety of my team members.

The cancellation of the concert will harm Turkey’s image in the world. But I want to return to Turkey and realize this concert [in the future],” said Ron, who won the 2007 Academy Award for Short Film for writing the music for West Bank Story.

The concert, which was scheduled for Thursday night in Istanbul’s Sultanahmet neighborhood, was canceled it because of threats from IHH, Hurriyet reported.

Arab Israeli Parliament Member Azmi Bishara Should be Tried for Treason

Written by Marty Roberts on September 5, 2010 – 9:03 am -

He and has cronies are returning from a trip where they clearly visited, supported and gave comfort to Israel’s enemies…They must be made to pay the price

Azmi Bishara

Israeli Jews of all sorts are investigated, incarcerated and prosecuted on allegations of crimes far less serious than this…They are thrown in jail and brought to court with far less evidence than is available in plain sight against Azmi Bishara and his group of Israeli Arab traitors…Just look at how the Syrian media, the propaganda arm of Israel’s sworn enemy, uses Bishara’s visit and his statements….See how they use his words to incite hatred and encourage the continuation of hostilities and war against Bishara’s own country Israel, a country in whose parliament he unabashedly serves…See how they incite Israel’s other Arab citizens against their own country…We are talking about Syria, a country with whom Israel is still at war…

Plus…German leader Angela Merkel comes out strongly for Israel…And Lebanon doesn’t like it one bit…

In the Middle East, Things Are RARELY What They Seem to Be

Written by Marty Roberts on June 15, 2010 – 1:25 pm -

Lovers of Peace…Be Careful What You Wish For!!…

New Show/Podcast!!!

middle east region

The Middle East..What You Think is Rarely True

Israel’s Arab neighbors are indifferent to the possibility of a nuclear-armed Iran, right? WRONG!!…And they are ready to help arch-enemy ISRAEL stop the mullahs,,,
The palestinians are united in their desire for a new homeland…of course!!…Wrong again…Listen to the facts and the historical reasons why…
All of the nations of the Middle East (except Israel, of course) are united in their desire to support the palestinians and have them achieve their goal of an independent state…Well, right…except that NONE of them want it to happen!!!…Listen to understand why the Middle East countries would like nothing better that to NEVER see the creation of a palestinian state, Islamist or otherwise (with the possible exception of Syria, who simply could not care less one way or the other)
Finally, everyone would agree that the blockade on Gaza MUST be removed…Gaza MUST be opened up, correct?…Well, yes, everybody, that is, except for the countries in the MIddle East, like Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and, oh yeah, don’t forget the ruling palestinian Fatah Party themselves.

So, if you really want peace, if you really hate war…better be careful about your campaign to open up Gaza…Better be careful about allowing the current delicate balance of power in the Middle East to be upset…In short…Pray for Israel’s strength…

More Video Proof That the Free Gaza Flotilla Wanted Violence, NOT Peace

Written by Marty Roberts on June 3, 2010 – 11:36 am -

Violent flotilla

Peace Activists

The Israel-haters have gotten SO desperate in their hatred that they are claiming that hours and hours of video footage proving that the “Love Boats” were really ships of death…nothing humanitarian at all about them…that the videos are not authentic…pathetic.

Here’s another revealing video. This video footage is from the security cameras on the Mavi Marmara ship itself, NOT from the Israeli Army.

The Mavi Marmara’s security camera recorded a video displaying the “peace
activists” getting prepared to welcome IDF soldiers.

While the soldiers of the Shayetet Naval Special Forces are approaching the
Mavi Marmara ship, the “peace activists” are getting prepared to welcome
them. In this special video recorded by the ship’s security camera, we can
see the way they equip themselves: clubs, pipes, glass and metal bottles.
This was recorded a few minutes before they started attacking the IDF
soldiers in a violent and uncontrolled way.

Video Release from The Israeli Army Spokesman Shows Activists on Free Gaza Ships Firing at Soldiers With Live Gunfire

Written by Marty Roberts on June 2, 2010 – 1:09 pm -

“Humanitarians” Beating Israeli Soldiers

Here is video evidence of the Israeli soldiers being shot at with LIVE GUNFIRE!!!
It was the Turkish government that said that all of the ships were checked for weapons before leaving for Gaza…Shouldn’t they be held accountable?

And why, in Heaven’s Name, is it taking Sooooooo LONG for the IDF to release these important videos?

And why do all the fools in the world refuse to believe what they are seeing, right before their very eyes?
Can the hatred for Israel and the Jews be SO great? Apparently…YES!!!

Video Release: “They are firing on us with live fire!”

Video Release: “They are firing on us with live fire!”

IDF Spokesperson 01 June 2010 , 21:08

Video shows soldiers on their way to intercepting the Mavi Marmara ship
being shot at with live fire.

During the operation to redirect the Gaza flotilla on Monday (May 31), IDF
commandos boarded the Mavi Marmara ship. On the other five ships which were
part of the flotilla, the interception took place with no violence. When the
soldiers attempted to board the Mavi Marmara, activists on board attacked
the soldiers and stole two pistols in a prepared attack.

In this footage you can hear the radio exchange between soldiers on their
way to the bridge and the IDF ship. The soldiers report encountering live
fire and serious violence.

On Tuesday (June 1) Captain R., a Naval Special Forces commander of one of
the squadrons who participated in the interception of the Mavi Marmara ship,
said in an interview with IDF Radio: “There were terrorists who wanted to
kill us. I cannot explain it any other way. We used every means possible in
order that those who shouldn’t get hurt – would not get hurt.”

Captain R. was stabbed in the stomach and was wounded in his arm. “After I
descended from the helicopter, I was in front of several terrorists and I
cocked my weapon when I saw one of them come towards me with a knife. I
fired one shot, and at that point, another twenty people started coming at
me from every direction. They jumped at me and hurled me to the lower deck.
At the same time, I felt intense pain in my stomach. I saw a knife stabbed
into my stomach and I pulled it out. I somehow managed to get to the lower
level, where there was another mob of people. I, along with other team
members, jumped into the water. The third commando that was with us was hit
in the head and lost consciousness,” he said.

“We came to speak, they came to fight.”

Another naval soldier, who participated in the interception of the Mavi
Marmara ship and sustained a broken arm while under attack by the ship’s
passengers, described how the soldiers were shot at from the entrance to the
ship’s corridor.

“I saw two from my group lying flat on the ground. From the opening of the
corridor they were shooting at them the entire time with live fire, bullets.
We identified a gun barrel, and one of us shot at the guy holding it.
Afterwards we entered and he wasn’t there. About 30 men, they simply came
for war. We came to straighten things out, to speak to those who went
downstairs, but each of us who descended was simply attacked.”

“There were some from my group that were thrown to the lower floor, and the
passengers took their equipment. They jumped to the water as a last resort.
We were told that if they didn’t listen, we should shoot at their legs with
our paintball guns. The pistol was to be used only if we really felt our
lives in danger, which wasn’t expected to happen. It would be extremely
abnormal. But in the end, that is what happened.”

“We came with the intention of stopping the ship and taking it to Ashdod,
and we did not come with the weapons we usually have, we came for something
entirely different.”

The Participants on the Free Gaza Ships Wanted to Die as Martyrs More Than They Wanted to Reach Gaza With Their Humanitarian Aid

Written by Marty Roberts on June 2, 2010 – 12:41 pm -

flotilla commander

The Violence on the Flotilla Was Pre-Planned by the Organizers

Here is a video of a speech in which the leaders of the “Free Gaza” flotilla openly announced that they were planning on using violence against the Israelis, and that the participants sought to die as martyrs even more than they wanted to reach Gaza with their “humanitarian aid”…

More documentation
of flotilla planning violence against Israel

Reprinted from Palestinian Media Watch

A day before the confrontation with Israel a university lecturer revealed on Hamas TV that the Gaza flotilla’s commander had announced that the participants were planning to use “resistance,” the Palestinian euphemism for violence, against “the Zionists.” He added that the participants sought to die as Martyrs, even more than they wanted to reach Gaza.

The following are the words of Dr. Abd Al-Fatah Shayyeq Naaman, lecturer in Shari’ah law at a university in Yemen, now visiting Gaza:

“The [Gaza] flotilla commander said yesterday: ‘We will not allow the Zionists to get near us and we will use resistance against them.’
How will they wage resistance? They will resist with their fingernails. They are people who seek Martyrdom for Allah, as much as they want to reach Gaza, but the first [Martyrdom] is more desirable.”

[Al-Aqsa TV (Hamas), May 30, 2010]

Video of the Weapons Cache Found on the Free Gaza Flotilla’s Marmara Ship of Death

Written by Marty Roberts on June 2, 2010 – 12:22 pm -

Maybe the “humanitarians” on these ships thought that they needed a weapons cache to defend themselves from food and medicine thieves…More likely, they wanted violent clashes with the Israeli authorities…which they provoked and got…

marmara weapons
Video Footage!!!

Weapons, including knives, Molotov cocktails, detonators, wood and metal
clubs, slingshots and rocks, large hammers and sharp metal objects. In
addition, gas masks were found, pointing to the prior intention of the ship’s
passengers to use violence against IDF soldiers who would then be forced to
use riot dispersal methods.

Supply of weapons discovered on board the Mavi Marmara

IDF Spokesperson 01 June 2010 , 01:15 Arnon Ben-Dror

Reprinted from IDF Website

After IDF soldiers succeeded in stopping the attack against them by
passengers on board the Mavi Marmara ship, the ship was brought to the
Ashdod port and arrived in the late hours of Monday evening (May 31).
Flotilla participants were brought off the ship and taken for questioning.

Once the activists left the ship, security forces began a thorough search
and found a supply of weapons, including knives, Molotov cocktails,
detonators, wood and metal clubs, slingshots and rocks, large hammers and
sharp metal objects. In addition, gas masks were found, pointing to the
prior intention of the ship’s passengers to use violence against IDF
soldiers who would then be forced to use riot dispersal methods.

The Mavi Marmara was the last among the flotilla ships to arrive on Monday
to Ashdod. Beforehand, the other five ships participating in the flotilla
arrived. Unlike the Mavi Marmara, passengers on board the other ships
cooperated with the security forces. The removal of passengers from the
ships was secured by Israeli Police special forces, headed by the Yamam
Special Police Unit, in addition to Military Policemen and naval officers
who assisted in escorting the passengers to the security examination site
set up in the Ashdod port.

In this security check, personnel from the Oz Unit of the Ministry of the
Interior waited for the passengers of the flotilla, and verified the
identification of the passengers using their passports. Some of the
passengers were arrested and some deported. Due to the extremely violent
attack by passengers on board the Mavi Marmara against IDF soldiers, these
passengers were detained for questioning at the port.

Among the IDF representatives who arrived to the Ashdod port throughout the
day were Deputy Chief of the General Staff Maj. Gen. Benny Gantz, Head of
the Operations Directorate Maj. Gen. Tal Roso, GOC of the Southern Command
Maj. Gen. Yoav Galent and GOC of the Home Front Command, Maj. Gen. Yair
Golan.

Any Humanitarian Aid That Was on The “Free Gaza” Flotilla is Already Being Delivered to Gaza…By Israel

Flotilla of Aid

View the Video

IDF forces unload the humanitarian cargo from
the Gaza Flotilla and bring the aid through the Kerem Shalom crossing.

An average of 10,000 tons of aid a week are imported into the Gaza Strip in
coordination with international organizations through the land crossings.
However, there remains a maritime closure on the strip as Hamas continues to
smuggle weapons through tunnels for use against Israeli civilians.
