America Is About to Join Forces With Israel’s Enemies in Demanding That Israel Be Stripped of Her Nuclear Deterrent Capability
Written by Marty Roberts on May 4, 2010 – 5:21 pm -We’ve been hearing about this for weeks now..the ongoing campaign by the US Obama administration to emasculate her closest ally in the Middle East, Israel, is set to be ratcheted up a notch or two at this week’s United Nations nuclear conference. The plan is to join forces with Israell’s enemies in demanding that Israel strip herself of nuclear weapons, her best deterrent and, perhaps, only method of insuring the continuing existence of the Jewish State.
While Obama effectively does nothing to stop the true nuclear threat, Iran, from obtaining the atomic bomb, he decides to concentrate his efforts on stripping Israel of her best deterrent, the unspoken nuclear capability.
The US administration knows full well that Israel is no threat to the region or world peace, in that, clearly, Israel would only use the A-bomb in self-defense. There are no territorial or other ambitions that could induce Israel to strike ANY country in the region with nuclear weapons, whereas Iran has clearly and repeatedly stated her intentions of using an atomic bomb to wipe out Israel at the earliest possible opportunity…
Oh, yeah, and what if that car parked in Times Square had been loaded with a dirty atomic bomb instead of cheap fertilizer? Once Iran goes atomic, the materials will be widely available to Muslim terrorists like that guy in New York…
US Targets Israel as Anti-Nuke Conference Begins
The United States is working with both Egypt and Russia to rid Israel of its nuclear weapons, as part of a comprehensive plan to neutralize Iran’s nuclear power
Reprinted from Israelnationalnews.com Hillel Fendel
Reports of this nature are being reported in various news media. The Guardian (London) reports that the US and Russia have drafted an initiative to ban nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction in the Middle East, while the Wall Street Journal says the Obama Administration is considering support for a “nuclear-free Middle East.”The Guardian adds that the proposal involves the appointment of a special coordinator to conduct exploratory talks with Israel, Iran and the Arab states, followed by a regional conference. It is to be a central issue at an anti-proliferation United Nations conference beginning Monday in New York.
According to the Wall Street Journal report, the US is strongly considering opposing Israeli nuclear weapons more strongly than it ever has before. However, the US government has, at the same time, sent Jerusalem a message designed to calm Israeli anxieties on the matter, stating that the U.S. would not take such a drastic approach before it sees significant progress in the peace process between Israel and the Arab nations.
Specifically, Ellen Tauscher, undersecretary of state for arms control and international security, said the conditions are not right “unless all members of the region participate, which would be unlikely unless there is a comprehensive peace plan which is accepted.”
Such a message is actually not very calming, in that it does not state that there must be “peace” before the U.S. would take such a position. Furthermore, it is widely felt in Israel that its nuclear potential is as critical for maintaining peace as it is during times of war.
This may not be Israel’s official position, however – at least according to the Wall Street Journal. An Israeli source is quoted in the report as saying that Jerusalem’s vision is one of a Middle East without weapons of mass destruction, but that this must occur only as the climax of a peace process with all nations of the region.
The UN conference, held every five years, is to begin with an address by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, whose nuclear program and soon-expected capabilities have thrown the region into turmoil. U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will also address the conference on Monday.
“The last NPT conference in 2005 ended in collapse,” the Journal reported, “but U.S. officials said they have been laying the groundwork for this conference for nearly a year.”

The American Administration Thinks That Israel Is Her Vassal State…Cannot Understand Why Israel Does Not See Things The Same Way
Written by Marty Roberts on April 30, 2010 – 3:05 pm -Why is the U.S. so darned concerned about whether or not Israel builds homes for her citizens in the capital city of Jerusalem!!!
I think we are talking “Chutzpah” here…the Imperial Majesty of the United States of America is all in a tizzy because her vassal state of the Banana Republic of Israel will not bow to the demands of her master, the U.S., as to when, where and how to build homes…pretty unbelievable, if you ask me…
The Obama administration is snubbing the Mayor of Jerusalem, Nir Barkat by not receiving him in an appropriate, dignified official capacity (welcome to the club, Mayor Barkat, says Prime Minister Netanyahu) because he has the audacity to say that his country, Israel, will, indeed, continue to build homes for Israelis in the capital, Jerusalem. And HOW DARE such a peon openly express his dissatisfaction with the public dissing of Israel by the American administration…who does he think he is, anyway?…The Mayor of Jerusalem, or something like that???
And then, the Americans think that they can sidle up and make nice with the Interior Minister, Eli Yishai, in spite of the fact that it was, most likely, Yishai himself that was responsible for the announcement of the Jerusalem building plans during US VP Biden’s visit to Israel…the event that started the tempest in the teapot boiling away in the first place…
Seems the Americans think that we Israelis are not only unimportant and weak, but stupid as well…
Good for you, Mayor Barkat, for telling it like it is and doing the job that you were elected to do…looking after the interests of the Capital City of Israel, Jerusalem and her inhabitants…
Jerusalem mayor shunned by top US officials
Following harsh statements against Obama Administration, Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat’s request to meet with Clinton, Mitchell denied; Israeli official slams mayor’s remarks, says his actions undermine renewal of negotiations
Reprinted from YNetnews.com Yitzhak BenhorinAdministration rejected Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat’s request to meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Special Mideast Envoy George Mitchell, Ynet has learned.
Barkat, who is visiting Washington, continued his attacks on the US government Wednesday, further embarrassing the Netanyahu government.
In the interview, Barkat said his positions on the Jerusalem issue are identical to PM Netanyahu’s views; however, an Israeli official expressed anger at the mayor’s conduct “at such sensitive period in US-Israel ties, when every housing unit in Jerusalem gains prominence.”
Uncoordinated meetings
A senior Israeli official said “Jerusalem is a sensitive issue when we’re on the verge of entering talks.” Addressing Barkat’s visit and remarks, the official said: “He arrived here without any authority to engage in diplomatic issues and without any responsibility – he arrived and is causing damage.”On Tuesday, Barkat met American reporters and was quoted as saying that President Obama’s move constituted a slap in Israel’s face.
While the Jerusalem mayor informed the Israeli embassy in Washington of his arrival, he independently coordinated meetings in Congress and with the US media, without coordinating his moves with Israeli diplomats in charge of these issues.

American bear hug? Interior Minister Eli Yishai has been officially invited to visit the White House. The decision is apparently the result of the US Administration’s desire to forge closer ties with the minister they perceive to be behind the east Jerusalem construction turmoil during Vice President Joe Biden’s visit in Israel.
During Biden’s visit last month, the Interior Ministry approved the construction of 1,800 housing units in east Jerusalem’s Ramat Shlomo neighborhood.
The invitation was handed to Yishai by Dan Shapiro, Director of the Middle East department at the National Security Council.
Shapiro was also the one who reprimanded Yishai following the east Jerusalem construction decision, yet despite the harsh tones, the interior minister was asked to visit Washington at that time already. The official invitation, as noted, was extended Wednesday.
At the time, Yishai expressed his satisfaction in respect to the US holding him responsible for the east Jerusalem construction affair.
In an interview with Shas’ journal, he said that he “thanks the Creator for being given the right to be the minister who approves the construction of thousands of housing units in Jerusalem. This is the Jewish people’s capital. We built in Jerusalem for many years, and we’ll continue to build it.”

When America’s National Security Advisor Feels Free to Open His Address With an Anti-Semitic Joke…What Could Be Next?
Written by Marty Roberts on April 27, 2010 – 2:48 pm -When the United States of America National Security Adviser feels free to open his address to a Washington-based Middle East policy organization with an anti-semitic joke, one can only wonder what to expect next in the land-of-the-free.
U.S. President Obama’s openly hostile attitude towards America’s greatest ally, Israel, has apparently set the tone for what is and is not politically and socially acceptable today in America. Clearly, blatant attacks on the Jews have become the norm, with nary an eyebrow raised in Washington circles.
Unfortunately, the racist anti-semitic jokes and nasty anti-Jewish, anti-Israel words are all too often followed by physical acts of violence.
I know, I know…not in America…America is different…Yada yada yada…
That’s what they said in Germany…And in Spain…And in France…And in Portugal…And in England…
Feel free to pick your century…You have your choice of many…

James Jones apologizes for ‘Jewish merchant’ joke after uproar
ADL says joke in which Jewish merchant swindles thirsty Taliban fighter ‘inappropriate and stereotypical.’ National security advisor: I wish that I had not made this off the cuff joke
Reprinted from YnetNews.com Yitzhak Benhorin
National Security Adviser James Jones opened his remarks at the 25-year anniversary gala of the Washington Institute For Near East Policy last weekend with a joke in which a Jewish merchant fleeces a thirsty Taliban fighter.CBS reported that the joke, which many claimed was in bad taste, was conspicuously absent from the version of the remarks distributed to the media.
Here is how it went: “A Taliban militant gets lost and is wandering around the desert looking for water. He finally arrives at a store run by a Jew and asks for water.
The Jewish vendor tells him he doesn’t have any water but can gladly sell him a tie. The Taliban begins to curse and yell at the Jewish storeowner. The Jew, unmoved, offers the rude militant an idea: Beyond the hill, there is a restaurant; they can sell you water.
The Taliban keeps cursing and finally leaves toward the hill. An hour later he’s back at the tie store. He walks in and tells the merchant: “Your brother tells me I need a tie to get into the restaurant.”
Foreign Policy reported that the participants, many of whom were Jewish, laughed heartily, but conservative blogs and some Jewish community leaders pounced on the remark.
Anti-Defamation League head Abe Foxman called the joke “inappropriate,” saying, “It’s stereotypic,” he said. “Some people believe they need to start a speech with a joke; this was about the worst kind of joke the head of the National Security Council could have told.”
Jones apologized on Monday, saying, “I wish that I had not made this off the cuff joke at the top of my remarks, and I apologize to anyone who was offended by it. It also distracted from the larger message I carried that day: that the United States commitment to Israel’s security is sacrosanct.”
White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said the joke was not included on the transcript because the release was based on Jones’ prepared remarks.
Gibbs was quoted by CBS News as saying that the White House had not requested the apology and that it “rightly speaks for itself.”

America Might Be Preparing to Play With Fire…Divine Fire
Written by Marty Roberts on March 29, 2010 – 12:51 pm - If predictions of an Obama-enforced settlement on Israel turn out to be true, we could be headed for a VERY rocky road ahead, indeed. This would amount to an almost complete about-face by America towards Israel and a total abrogation of previous promises and assurances given to Israel by US presidents since the Jewish State was founded, Republican and Democrat alike.
End-of-days scenarios predicted by the Jewish prophets speak of a time when ALL of the nations of the world will line up against Israel…ALL, meaning, ALL, including her former friends, such as the United States. The scenes are not pretty ones, but we know the outcome is ultimately good, with the nations of the world recognizing the True Creator and most everybody (those still alive, anyway) living happily ever after in the Messianic Age.
Israel cannot be expected to lay down and accept a US-imposed settlement that cannot possibly be good for the future existence and security of the state, therefore, the only way that Obama’s plan could be put into action would be via the use of force…hence the ugly end-of-days scenarios prophesied thousands of years ago.
Sooooo…the story can end in a limited number of ways…either, Heaven forbid, America is successful in crushing Israel under her heels, she gives in to the overwhelming force of the US military and the ultimate downfall of Israel as a sovereign Jewish State begins, ending the way of every other country throughout history…they come, and they go…as, indeed will happen to the United States of America, less than 500 years of age, a blip on the timeline of history.
Or…we will see the fulfillment of the biblical prophecies, and in the end, Israel arises strong and proud as the Jewish State, the State of the One True G-d, and the rest of the world falls in line behind her. It would seem to be a matter of belief…which scenario do you believe will happen? Are we witnessing the beginning of the end of Israel?, or is it the relatively quick rise and fall of the American Empire that Barak Obama is accelerating?
I have often said that I would have to have been a complete idiot to have left my home in America…my family, my life of leisure and luxury…for the unpredictable and often more difficult existence in the Land of Israel, if I did not truly believe in the Torah and its prophecies. If all that stuff were not true, one would be hard-pressed to find a reason to pick up house and home in California and head for the volatile Middle East.
So the headlines would indicate that we are heading towards crunch time…you either believe or you don’t…the Torah is either true, or it isn’t…
I, for one, am betting the whole farm and family that Moses had it right…Obama or no Obama…
(a side note…Sages of the Jewish Talmud are quoted as saying that some of them would prefer NOT to have the experience of witnessing the events of the end-of-days and the ensuing Messianic Age…they would rather wait until AFTER the tumult of the historical end-game before arising to join the festivities…There might just be something to that view…)
Israel fears Obama heading for imposed Mideast settlement
U.S. President Barack Obama’s demands during his meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu last Tuesday point to an intention to impose a permanent settlement on Israel and the Palestinians in less than two years, political sources in Jerusalem say.
Reprinted from Haaretz.com Ari Shavit
Israeli officials view the demands that Obama made at the White House as the tip of the iceberg under which lies a dramatic change in U.S. policy toward Israel.Of 10 demands posed by Obama, four deal with Jerusalem: opening a Palestinian commercial interests office in East Jerusalem, an end to the razing of structures in Palestinian neighborhoods in the capital, stopping construction in Jewish neighborhoods in East Jerusalem, and not building the neighborhood of Ramat Shlomo.
But another key demand – to discuss the dispute’s core issues during the indirect talks that are planned – is perceived in Jerusalem as problematic because it implies that direct negotiations would be bypassed. This would set up a framework through which the Americans would be able to impose a final settlement.
It is not just Obama’s demands that are perceived as problematic, but also the new modus operandi of American diplomacy. The fact that the White House and State Department have been in contact with Israel’s European allies, first and foremost Germany, is seen as part of an effort to isolate Israel and put enormous political pressure on it.
Israeli officials say that the Obama administration’s new policy contradicts commitments made by previous administrations, as well as a letter from George W. Bush in 2004 to the prime minister at the time, Ariel Sharon. According to this view, the new policy is also incongruous with the framework posed by Bill Clinton in 2000.
Senior Israeli sources say that as a result of the U.S. administration’s policies, the Palestinians will toughen their stance and seriously undermine the peace process’ chances of success.
Moreover, sources in Jerusalem say that the new American positions undermine the principle of credibility that has guided U.S. foreign policy since the end of World War II. Ignoring specific promises made to its Israeli ally would make other American allies lose trust in its commitments to them.
Israeli officials warn that if the United States shirks its past commitments, the willingness of the Israeli public to put its trust in future American guarantees will be undermined – as will the superpower’s regional and international standing.

The American Leadership Wants You to Believe That All of America’s Woes Will Be Solved By the Creation of a Palestinian State…Heaven Forbid
Written by Marty Roberts on March 26, 2010 – 3:48 pm - And here comes Santa Claus, being escorted by the Tooth Fairy…
This is the US administration’s new tactic to gain popular support for pressuring Israel into an unfavorable “peace” agreement with the palestinians…Create the illusion that “If only there was a palestinian state, at any cost, all of America’s problems in the Middle East, facing terrorism and with the Muslim world would be solved…Israel is the cause for all of America’s security problems…Just force Israel to submit to the palestinians and everything will be fine and dandy for the US”. Unfortunately, not true. The Muslim world hates America and everything that the US (used to) stand(s) for. The concept of global jihad puts America in the Islamic crosshairs, sooner or later, forever and ever, until Islam rules the world. Israel is an excuse, a stop along the way, a slice of the salami to be placed in the jihadist sandwich…a mere appetizer that does not satisfy the greater appetite for world domination.
I don’t think that Obama and Clinton really get this. What they DO get is that the US electorate supports Israel and has minimal faith in the palestinians. The American public realizes the moral and strategic importance of America’s alliance with Israel. Obama and Co. are threatened by this, hence, the tactic of using lies and fear tactics to bully public opinion in the US. Petraeus and Gates playing “good cop, bad cop”…making anti-Israel statements, then denying, apologizing, new statements…on and on.
We can only hope and pray that the Israeli people and their government will hold on to THEIR strength and faith, and the that the collective wisdom of the American electorate will prevail over the radical, islamicist socialist elites currently leading the US to ruin…
Petraeus says, “I didn’t really mean it…”
Petraeus denies saying Israel endangers lives of U.S. troops
Gen. David Petraeus, commander of the U.S. Military’s Central Command, telephoned Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi Wednesday to deny the reports he had blamed Israeli policy for the failure to reach a regional solution and for endangering the lives of U.S. soldiers in the Middle East.
This was not the first conversation between the two generals. The two had met at Petraeus’ initiative not long ago, but in Israel they were surprised that the commander of CENTCOM broke the news of the conversation yesterday before a lecture in New Hampshire, as here efforts were made to adhere to an American request to keep exchanges under wraps.Earlier this month, Petraeus warned the Pentagon that “America’s relationship with Israel is important, but not as important as the lives of America’s soldiers,” in a posting on the Foreign Policy Web site. Gates says “..but it really IS Israel’s fault that America has security problems with the Muslim world and the Middle East…A palestinian state will sove EVERYTHING!!!”
Gates: Stalled talks affect US national security
US secretary of defense agrees with General Petraeus that stalled talks affect entire region
Reprinted from YNet News Yitzhak Benhorin
WASHINGTON – “The absence of Middle East peace does affect US national security interests in the region,” US Secretary of Defense Robert Gates said Thursday.Gates expressed fears that hostile elements will exploit the stalled peace talks.
“Lack of progress toward Middle East peace is clearly an issue that is exploited by our adversaries in the region and is a source of certainly political challenge,” he said. “Whether it has a direct impact, I’m not entirely sure. But there is no question that the absence of Middle East peace does affect US national security interests in the region.”
Gates, together with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Admiral Mike Mullen, said that the political tension would not affect the important relationship between the IDF and the US military. Mullen said he had spoken to the IDF’s Chief of Staff Major-General Gabi Ashkenazi twice last week and that relations between the two armies continue to be extraordinarily strong.
Gates spoke in response to a question about last week’s comment by head of the US Central Command General David Petraeus, who is responsible for US forces in Iraq and Afghanistan. Petraeus expressed his concern that lack of progress in talks between Israel and the Palestinians would affect the entire region.
Testimony to the way the Arab world is carefully following the crisis echoed in the words of King Abdallah of Jordan, who said Thursday morning that Israel is “playing with fire” in continuing to build in east Jerusalem, and “trying to change the identity of the Holy City.”
He added that Israel’s unilateral moves in Jerusalem are “illegal and illegitimate and will lead to further crises.”
“East Jerusalem must be the capital of an independent Palestinian state, which must be established soon,” he said during an interview with newspaper editors in Jordan. “We have repeatedly warned that Israel is playing with fire, and Jordan denounces all steps that threaten to change the identity of Jerusalem and empty the city of its Arab, Christian and Muslim residents.
US citizens, however, are not angry. Despite the crisis and the harsh words spoken by US President Barack Obama and Israeli ministers, according to a CNN poll Israel is still considered an important friend among Americans.
The poll, conducted in the days before Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s visit to Washington, reveals that most Americans see Israel as an ally of the US.
Some 41% of respondents said they considered Israel to be a friendly state, but not an ally. Some 39% said Israel was an ally, and only 12% said they considered Israel unfriendly to the US, while 5% described Israel as an enemy state.

Release Jonathan Pollard NOW!!!
Written by Marty Roberts on March 10, 2010 – 9:40 am -Jonathan Pollard is a hero. He risked all to protect Israel. He did nothing, really, to betray the United States, Israel’s strongest ally, yet he is paying dearly for his loyalty.
Almost 25 of his 55 years on earth spent in horrible conditions in a US prison. This is how America treats a “spy” for an allied country? For America’s closest friend, Israel?
Spies of enemy nations have not received such harsh treatment.
America, please, release Jonathon Pollard NOW!!!

Special ‘Pollard Haggadah’ Issued
The holiday commemorating G-d’s redemption of His firstborn nation from Egyptian bondage is approaching, and a new Haggadah dedicated to Jonathan Pollard was issued Monday for the occasion.
Reprinted from INN Hillel Fendel
Pollard, 55, is now in his 25th year of incarceration in the United States, sentenced to life in prison after being convicted on one count of transferring classified information to US-ally Israel. The publishers of the new Haggadah – the ritual text used to guide the annual festive Passover “seder” meal – say that Pollard’s extended imprisonment “is a test for us all regarding the extent of the mutual responsibility that lies at the base of our very national existence. Jonathan Pollard, may G-d strengthen him, has been decaying in U.S. prison for over 24 years, and if we are not privileged to see his release soon, this coming Seder night [March 29] will be his 25th in the prison of that ‘friendly nation.’”
This coming Sunday will mark 8,888 days that Pollard has been in prison.
Some 20,000 copies of the Haggadah will be printed, “and if we need more, we’ll print more,” said Asher Mivtzari, one of the forces behind the project. The book will be distributed in towns all around Israel as soon as it comes off the presses, and will be sold for the token price of ten shekels.
The Haggadah was edited by Rabbi Gabi Kadosh, the rabbi of the northern Negev town Shomriyah, where several dozens expelled Gush Katif families have made their home; he was the rabbi of the Gush Katif community of Ganei Tal for many years. Rabbi Kadosh compiled what many rabbis and public figures have said about Pollard, as well as Torah thoughts on the tremendous importance in Judaism of Redemption of Captives.
Passover was traditionally a time when extra efforts were made to redeem captives. The Book of Our Heritage, by Rabbi Eliyahu Ki-Tov, cites a traditional practice in many Jewish communities “that on the morning of Passover eve, the leaders of the community would go to the jails in and around their town, checking to see if there were any Jewish prisoners, whom they would then attempt to free.”
Asked why no English edition is available, Mivtzari explained that the first priority in the campaign to free Pollard is Israel, where it is hoped that public pressure will be exerted on the government to work for his release. “In addition, the entire project was done amazingly quickly and there was no time to think of adding anything else,” Mivtzari said.
The name of the new publication is “Freedom Haggadah: Let’s not ‘pass over’ our brother Jonathan.” Volunteers will sell it door-to-door, and copies can be ordered at
. From the book’s introduction:
“Jonathan sacrificed his freedom for me, for you and for all of us, so that we would be able to live as free people in the Land of Israel, with our children forever. He simply wanted us to live and not die, that we should not fall victim to the evil schemes of those who hate us and want to destroy us… He is paying a terrible price: separated from his wife and imprisoned in disgraceful conditions that impair his health and endanger his life.”
