Comedy Central recently caved-in to death threats from an Islamic organization and pulled a bunch of material referring to Mohammed from an episode of “South Park”.

Looks like they’ve gone to the other extreme, when it comes to Israel and the Jews…

Check out their website, where an anti-Israel game is appearing, called “I.S.R.A.E.L. Attack”, which, although it has nothing at all to do with Israel, begins its intro with a character stating, “You lied to me, Jew Producer…”

“You Lied to Me, Jew Producer”: Comedy Central Shocker

An offensive online game plays on an association of Israel as a child killer

Recently, the Comedy Central TV network censored an episode of the popular South Park cartoon following threats from Islamic extremists offended at the show’s portrayal of the Prophet Mohammad. But while Comedy Central was perceived to have caved in on a matter of free speech, it appears that the network exercises double standards when it comes to producing genuinely offensive material.

Currently appearing on Comedy Central’s website is a game called “I.S.R.A.E.L. Attack!”. The premise of this game has nothing to do with Israel and, as such, is nothing more than an insidious attempt at association. The game’s introduction begins with a character who states:

You lied to me, Jew Producer

referring to a character who has failed to carry out a mission to destroy other child-like cartoon characters. If this piece of anti-Semitism isn’t bad enough, a robot – the Intelligent Smart Robot Animation Eraser Lady – is sent to do the job that the Jew Producer failed to achieve.

The character openly calls the robot by its acronym – ISRAEL – and the association created by those behind this game is unmistakable – Israel the child killer.

The game then involves the robot destroying everything and everyone in its path, including children and animals.

This inappropriate and offensive game, aimed at children as well as adults, should not appear on Comedy Central’s website or any other mainstream media outlet.

At the time of writing, Comedy Central’s website feedback form is not operational so please go to the programming feedback form, select Other in the Topic section and demand that Comedy Central remove this offensive game from its website.

Another warning about the growing influence of Islam in the United States…this time Jewish students face the threat of violence on American University campuses.

As militant, anti-semitic, anti-Israel Moslem organizations gain strength on U.S. campuses, their ongoing incitement to violence against Jewish students becomes more and more dangerous for the Jews studying there.

What will it take for a wake-up call?

When will common-sense prevail over the need for “PC-political correctness” and so-called “religious tolerance” towards the “religion of peace”, which has, time after time, proven to be NOT!

UCLA Campus..Dangerous for Jewish Students?

Caution: Growing Threat to Jews on California Campuses

Two University of California professors warn that Jewish students face greater dangers as Muslim extremist organizations grow in campus influence.

In an article on AmericanThinker.com, Leila Beckwith and Tammi Rossman-Benjamin – Professor Emeritus at the UCLA and Lecturer at the University of California Santa Cruz, respectively – write of the growth of Al-Awda, the presence of the Muslim Students Association or Muslim Student Union in nearly 600 North American colleges and universities, the activities of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), and more.

“Many of the activities of these groups specifically harass and intimidate Jewish students,” they write, and “it is not inconceivable that these groups’ anti-Semitic discourse and hostility could escalate into incidents of physical violence. Nevertheless, California administrators have been unwilling to respond to, or even acknowledge, the threats that Jewish students face on their campuses.”

Al-Awda, for instance, is an organization that opposes Israel’s right to exist, supports foreign terrorist organizations such as Hamas and Hizbullah, organizes strongly anti-Israel rallies and events, and often features virulently anti-Zionist and anti-Semitic speakers and films at its events.

“Al-Awda has also made significant inroads on college and university campuses in North America,” the professors write, “by partnering with dozens of Muslim and pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel student groups. The first four of Al-Awda’s seven annual international conventions were held on university campuses (University of Toronto, Hunter College, UCLA, and San Francisco State University),” and its conventions and regional conferences are invariably sponsored by Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) and the Muslim Student Association (MSA).

In California alone, SJP and MSA groups from more than ten California public colleges and universities have collaborated with Al Awda in hosting events.

Speaker Boasts at Success in Silencing Israeli
A sample Al-Awda event was reported on by undercover reporter Lee Kaplan this past February. One speaker, Dr. Jess Ghannam, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Global Health Sciences at UC San Francisco and Adjunct Professor of Ethnic Studies at SFSU, gloated at the successful disruption of Israeli Ambassador Michael Oren’s speech at UC Irvine MSU. “Now, every single Israeli military official and politician will be afraid to speak publicly,” Ghannam said. “It’s huge!”

The MSA, founded by the extremist Sunni Muslim Brotherhood, has had speakers on college campuses who justify suicide bombers and jihad and/or have acted in support of Hamas. Both the MSA and the SJP have repeatedly promoted anti-Israel events that at times become openly anti-Semitic and voice support for suicide bombers. At UC Irvine, for example, the professors write, “the MSA has been involved in acts of physical aggression, harassment, and intimidation of Jewish students; has produced posters equating the Star of David with the swastika; and hosts speakers who compare Jews to Nazis and praise terrorism.”

Chancellors Condemn – But Only in Principle
The response of university officials has been weak, to say the least. For example, Beckwith and Rossman-Benjamin write that “all ten University of California Chancellors recently signed a statement condemning ‘all acts of racism, intolerance and incivility’ … Nevertheless, not one UC Chancellor has condemned the MSA/MSU or SJP groups on his or her campus for the hateful, anti-Semitic programs they mount, or the hostile and intimidating environment they create for Jewish students.”

At a special three-hour UC Regents meeting last month devoted to addressing recent acts of intolerance and bigotry on UC campuses, the discussion focused almost entirely on African-American students and other under-represented minorities. The “longstanding and intolerable harassment and intimidation of Jewish students by members of the Muslim and pro-Palestinian/anti-Israel student groups were not mentioned even once,” the professors write.

In addition, the Office of Civil Rights (OCR) of the U.S. Department of Education has refused to afford Jewish students the same protections against harassment and intimidation as it grants to every African-American, Latino, and Arab student. This policy is an above-board feature of Obama administration policy, said Kenneth Marcus, former director of the OCR, who quoted Assistant Secretary of Education for Civil Rights Russlynn Ali as indicating that the Obama administration would not pursue cases of harassment against Jewish students.

Raising the Alarm
“The MSA/MSU and SJP chapters on many California campuses are unlike other official student groups,” the two professors conclude. “Their affiliations with organizations that support terror and seek to wage Islamic jihad make them a threat to every member of the campus community, but especially to Jewish students. The refusal of university and government officials to afford protections to Jewish students on California campuses is absolutely unconscionable and should be protested loudly and clearly by parents, donors, and taxpayers across the state and across the nation.”

Anti-semitism is on the rise around the world. Why are the Jews in Berlin, Germany surprised that there is increasing Jew-hatred in Germany? Especially given the rising number of Muslims everywhere in Europe and their increasing muscle-flexing in whatever country they are found.
Then again,why any Jew would want to live in Germany, of all places, is beyond me…

Berlin Jews alarmed by spate of anti-Semitic attacks


Jewish Community in Berlin warns of ‘alarming’ rise in anti-Semitic violence by Arab, Turkish immigrants following reports of two attacks against Jews over the weekend

Germany’s Jewish community on Monday warned of an “alarming” rise in anti-Semitic violence by Arab and Turkish immigrants after Berlin police reported two unrelated attacks against Jews at the weekend.

“There’s an urgent need to fight the roots of anti-Semitism, especially coming from young Turks and Arabs, and to effectively counter it,” the Jewish Community in Berlin said in a statement.

“That the violence from the immigrant community is being increasingly aimed at Jews or people they assume are Jews is alarming,” it added. A sensitive issue in Germany because of its Nazi past, even relatively minor reports of anti-Semitic violence make the news.

Police reported at the weekend that two women and a man were beaten, struck on the head with beer bottles and insulted by a gang of immigrants in an underground station.

Local media reports said the three were first asked if they were Jewish. The attack started after they said yes. Police said they were searching for the assailants.

In a separate incident, a 61-year-old German was detained after shouting anti-Semitic slogans at two 10-year-old girls at a train station. He threatened to beat a 28-year-old man who tried to protect them with a beer bottle.

He was detained and faces charges of inciting racial hatred and attempted bodily harm.

More anti-semitism in Europe…So what else is new?
It would seem to me that it is obvious that the time has come for the Jews still in exile to come home. The Creator cannot make it TOO much clearer without it getting REALLY painful, and He would prefer NOT to do that to his Chosen People.
But, if there is no other way for the Jews to get the message (we Jews can be a bit on the stubborn side…you know, stiff-necked and all…), our Father in Heaven has been known to turn up the heat on His children.

Sitting around Rabbi Shmuel Raskin’s table for the second seder in Budapest and singing Passover songs, holiday celebrators were shocked when stones suddenly crashed against the windows. Ynet learned of the threatening incident, which members of the local Jewish community are attributing to the rise of the radical Right in Hungary.

Sitting next to Rabbi Raskin was Eran Elbar, a Jewish Agency representative in eastern Europe. “At around 11 pm, stones were thrown at the window behind the rabbi and myself. We didn’t make a big deal about it. We closed the shutters a bit and continued. A half hour later, we opened the shutters again, and another stone was thrown,” said Elbar.

The second incident prompted the seder guests to call the police. Police officers stationed themselves along the street, but that apparently did not deter the stone-throwers.

The rabbi himself could not be reached for comment because the holiday is not yet over in Hungary.

“Afterwards, at midnight, what seemed to be a rubber bullet from a slingshot or some primitive weapon was fired at the window. The police are still looking into the weapon. The hole made looks like a gunshot,” Elbar explained.

Another guest, a photographer working in Hungary who has attended the Raskin seder for the past few years, said that the double window installed for extra insulation against the cold apparently protected the participants from harm.

“The interior window in essence stopped the bullet from hurting the rabbi, and this is how he was miraculously saved,” explained the photographer. According to him, the improvised rubber bullet fired after midnight passed “right over the rabbi’s head.”

‘The Right growing stronger’

The photographer claimed that the police addressed the incident poorly: “They didn’t see that there was a rubber bullet and insisted that only stones were thrown. They told us, ‘We’re not going to go knocking on all the doors now to find who threw a stone at you.’ I understood they were going to do anything, so I ordered the security from the embassy to the site, and they arrived quickly.”

The photographer was deeply shaken by the evening’s events. “I couldn’t fall asleep all night. The rabbi is like my father and the Chabad House is like my second home even though I’m not religious. The Right is growing stronger here, and now there are concerns that there will be legitimacy granted to hurting foreigners. I am worried by the situation we have reached. I have lived and worked here for a few years and collaborate with Hungarians. What is going to happen now?”

Jewish Agency representative Elbar also said the incident affected the seder guests. “Even though no one was hurt, we all felt like this was a significant event. There is a sense that Jews need to lower their heads in light of strengthening of the extreme Right that could make headway in the upcoming elections. There are pamphlets everywhere for the party against the Jews,” said Elbar.

Somebody over at CNN needs to keep a closer eye on the Twitter messages they air to the public.

The news network regularly airs tweets from their audience to show that they’re down with all this web 2.0, social media stuff and also to get those, oh-so crucial, well-thought out voices from the public.

Sometimes though, problematic messages do crop up. During a Wolf Blitzer, Rick Sanchez chat about the U.S.-Israel diplomatic crisis last night a number of anti-semitic messages appeared in the crawl at the bottom of the screen.

“Israel is greedy” and “The Jewish lobby runs America” read two of the messages.

Looks like there is a lot more than NHL hockey players and tasty meatballs coming out of the Swedish city of Malmo…
It’s especially disturbing to see a country that helped SAVE Jews from the Nazis during the Holocaust now ignorantly comparing the Jewish State to those self-same Nazis. It is very difficult for me to discern where the line is between just good (bad) old-fashioned ant-Semitism that has been with us for eternity, and mere ignorance of the reality on the ground in the Middle East. I guess the naive in me, believing in the inherent good of man, so WANTS to believe that the hatred cannot really run so deep…just give them the facts, and they will see the light!!
Unfortunately, reality does NOT seem to bear this out, at least in my experience…

Sweden: A new hotbed of hatred?


With the repugnantly named – and deliberately so – Israeli Apartheid Week behind us, it feels particularly correct to have taken a commentary pass on the annual hate-fest, since media focus is clearly one of the event’s objectives.

This is always a difficult decision, whether to rise to the bait or leave those inclined to foment venom to their crude business, which is so palpably not as claimed – legitimate discussion of Israel’s policies in the Occupied Territories, some of which are notoriously anti-productive in getting a political resolution back on track. To wit: Last week’s ill-timed, embarrassing and quite harmful announcement, with U.S. Vice-President Joe Biden on the ground to hopefully kick-start “proximity talks,” of new settlement housing plans in contested East Jerusalem.

Yet ignoring the zealous fringe runs the risk of allowing odious cant, unchallenged, to take root in the fertile, manure-enriched low ground where the shoots of anti-Semitism thrive. That’s what has happened widely in Europe, where both the right and left fringe have so contaminated the centre on the issue of Israel that frightened Jews are aghast at the naked anti-Semitism now passing for acceptable criticism of the Jewish state.

This alarming phenomenon has recently been exposed in, of all places, the Swedish city of Malmo, heretofore known mostly as an incubator of NHL hockey players and an urban backdrop in the Kurt Wallander detective novels of Henning Mankell.

Sweden, for the love of God, has a history of offering sanctuary to European Jews during the Holocaust – as it has also, in recent decades, to Muslims fleeing conflict in Arab nations. It is the birthplace of Raoul Wallenberg, who helped save tens of thousands of Hungarian Jews from the Nazis. It has strong laws against Holocaust denial and defamation of minorities.

Yet it is also the country where the largest-circulation newspaper published a scandalously misleading report accusing the Israeli military of killing Palestinians to harvest their human organs – a modern-day repetition of the historical blood libel all too familiar to Jews. It is a country where the vice-chair for the Social Democratic Women in southern Sweden felt free to prattle: “I think Gaza is comparable to the Warsaw Ghetto … I’m surprised that Israel … can do the exact same things the Nazis did.”

Really? The exact same thing?

Here is the left-wing mayor of Malmo, Ilmar Reepalu, well-known for his outspoken pro-Palestinian bias, responding last month to a reporter’s straightforward question about whether he would state clearly that the city does not accept anti-Semitism: “We don’t accept anti-Semitism or Zionism. They (both) are extremists who want to set themselves over other groups and believe those others are worth less.”

Yes, the mayor of the third-largest city in Sweden blithely yoked anti-Semitism and Zionism as equally reprehensible – that would be Zionism, as the movement that brought forth Israel as a state; and Zionism, which the United Nations belatedly apologized for linking with racism by rescinding a shameful 1975 General Assembly resolution to that effect.

Reepalu added that Jews “have the possibility to affect the way they are seen by society” – a patently snide insinuation that Jews are responsible for the violence directed against them in such places as Malmo for their failure to denounce Israeli policies toward Palestinians, as if Jews the world over are to blame and thus rendering themselves targets. Would anybody claim that the diaspora of Muslims is responsible for the seething anti-Semitism of Hamas or Hezbollah and their charters calling for the outright elimination of Israel?

Malmo is a city of nearly 300,000 people. It has a tiny minority of 1,200 Jews. About a quarter of Malmo’s residents are immigrants, roughly 20 per cent of them Muslim, mostly of Arab origin. Hate crimes against Jews have spiked – 80 in 2009 reported to police, with cemeteries and synagogues desecrated, children taunted and at least 30 observant families moving to Israel in the last year to get away from harassment, according to recent stories in The Wall Street Journal and The Sunday Telegraph in London.

“I never thought I would see this hatred again in my lifetime, not in Sweden anyway,” Judith Popinski, a Holocaust survivor who arrived in Malmo 65 years ago, told the Telegraph.

When the issue of Jews now fleeing Malmo was raised with Reepalu, the mayor claimed: “There haven’t been any attacks on Jewish people, and if Jews from the city want to move to Israel, that is not a matter for Malmo.”

Interestingly, and significantly, Malmo’s Jews don’t blame Muslims for their predicament. It is fellow Swedes, not Arab immigrants, who are primarily making them feel unwanted and targeted – just as homegrown Christian and secular Swedes were behind a rock-throwing counter-demonstration against a pro-Israel rally last year, and the quarantining, under city council orders, of a Davis Cup tennis match between Israel and Sweden. A Stop the Match campaign, coalescing around Israel’s action in the Gaza war, successfully forced the best-of-five series (which Israel won) to be held in a near-empty stadium, with thousands of anti-Israel protesters turning violent outside the venue anyway. A Swedish appeals court just upheld the conviction and six-month prison sentence of one of those rioters.

Sweden’s players and the country’s tennis federation were furious at the council, which had banned spectators claiming the city couldn’t guarantee security. “It’s an unfortunate consequence of individual politicians trying to score political points,” said the federation chairman. “We thought the decision (by Malmo) was irresponsible and we still think so.”

Crowed Olof Holmberg, spokesman for Stop the Match: “We concluded that Malmo is Gaza. We were all Palestinians at the stadium.”

Mayor Reepalu made it quite clear he would have preferred if the matches were not played at all, a kind of sports disinvestment.

This is what happens when the demonization of Israel – Israelis, Jews – enters the populist mainstream, an asp at the breast of democracies that uphold, quite properly, the principles of free speech and freedom of assembly.

Righteous hate-mongers claim the win.

Holocaust monument in Poland vandalized


WARSAW, Poland — Vandals sprayed anti-Semitic graffiti on Holocaust memorials at a former Nazi concentration camp in Poland, desecration that authorities discovered Saturday and are investigating.

Words including “Jude Raus” — German for “Jew Out” — and “Hitler Good!” in English, were found in red paint Saturday on a large monument at the former Plaszow camp near Krakow. A smaller memorial plaque was also painted with a swastika and “Jude Raus.”

The vandalism was discovered a day before a planned memorial march marking the 67th anniversary of the liquidation of Krakow’s ghetto.
