I think that this is what is properly referred to as “cutting off your nose to spite your face”. For what possible reason would the Turks refuse help from the world’s leading experts at search and rescue and disaster response? Once again, that emotion called “hate” has a way of leading to particularly bad decisions…even to the extent of costing human lives…
