The results of early rounds in the Egyptian elections make it clear that the largest, most powerful Arab country in the Middle East is going to be run by fundamentalist Islamic jihadist parties. Common Misconceptions About Islam:

1. Islam is a religion of peace, and is NOT ANTI-JEWISH —- FALSE!!!! Islam has ALWAYS been a violent and military movement..Mohammed conducted 74 military campaigns, unifying Arab tribes with war and assasination or exile of Jews..

2. Islam is just a religion —- FALSE!!!! It has NEVER been JUST a religion, it has always been a political organization…with the goal of unifying all the Arab tribes, with their ultimate international expansion to world domination..

3. Mosques are only a sacred place of worship —- FALSE!!!! (again) Mosques have always been political and social centers, as well. They have been used historically (as well as today) for military plotting and radical political organization..

4. Jihad is not a practice of Islam, but only of a few radicals — WRONG!!!! Jihad is a TENET of Islam, practice by Mohammed himself–MILITARY Jihad, violent conquest of infidel nations… not some ethereal, spiritual conceptual Jihad…death and military victory!!! This is the exemplar of behavior for every believing Moslem..

5. Islam and Democracy are compatible — With all due respect to George W….ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Democracy and Islam are contradictory terms. Sharia, or Islamic religious Law, is the goal of Islam. Just see the “Ideal” in practice, whether in Saudi Arabia, Iran or Afghanistan.

Can the Brits possibly get any more ridiculous in their cow-towing to Islamic Jihadists? They actually apologized for teaching their soldiers how to fight Islamic terrorists hiding in a mosque by, of all things, USING A MOSQUE for training? I mean, how are they supposed to train for this all-too-common mission? Use a mock up of a synagogue? Or, maybe, a supermarket? Come on now, the soldiers have to be prepared for what they will face in real, life-and-death combat situations. Here, in the Middle East, i.e. iraq, Islamic terrorists hide in mosques. They use mosques as command and control centers. They use mosques to store weapons and explosives. They use mosques as covers for underground escape tunnels and bunkers. The soldiers WILL have to face the enemy, sooner or later, in a mosques. they need to be trained properly for that, even if it might offend the religious ultra-sensitivities of a few Muslims…and lose a few Muslim votes for those standing in the soon-to-come British parliamentary elections. The lives of the “good guys” are more important than any of these abstract or political concerns.

Therefore, it would seem to me…no apologies necessary…

UK military apologizes for firing range ‘mosques’

British army says it did not intend to use structures that resemble mosques for training

The British military has apologized for offending a Muslim group by using structures resembling mosques at a target range.

The military says it did not intend for the structures to look like mosques and that the structures were not actually being fired on.

The Bradford Council for Mosques is calling for the immediate removal of the structures at the Bellerby firing range at Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire, 250 miles (400 kilometers) north of London.

The group’s chief executive, Mohammed Saleem Khan, says it is obvious the structures look like mosques.

Military officials said Thursday they want to meet with the Muslim group to explain that no offense was intended. Officials have not said whether the structures will be removed.

Elsewhere, earlier this week, it was reported that President Barack Obama’s advisers will remove religious terms such as “Islamic extremism” from the central document outlining the US national security strategy and will use the rewritten document to emphasize that the United States does not view Muslim nations through the lens of terror, counterterrorism officials said.

The change is a significant shift in the National Security Strategy, a document that previously outlined the Bush Doctrine of preventative war and currently states: “The struggle against militant Islamic radicalism is the great ideological conflict of the early years of the 21st century.”

The president of Iran, Ahmoud Ahmadinejad, is looking to evacuate the capital of his country, Tehran. He claims he is worried about a massive earthquake striking. does he know something that the rest of us mortals do not? Does he think that he REALLY IS a prophet of Islam?
Or, just maybe, is he just afraid of a deadly strike of another sort on Tehran? Perhaps he fears that Tehran will be struck by some deadly flying objects emblazoned with the Star of David in the not-too-distant future?

Ahmadinejad Warns about Devastating Quake in Tehran

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad warned about the threat of a devastating quake in Tehran, urging the people who reside in the Iranian capital to move to the other parts of the country.

Decreasing the number of people in Tehran would make it easier to provide necessary services to them in emergency conditions, Ahmadinejad pointed out.

“The government will provide the necessary facilities for the people of Tehran to live in the other cities,” he added, addressing people on the sidelines of a visit to an emergency shelter center in western Tehran.

Some 25 emergency camps are presently established in the Iranian capital to give shelter to a total number of one million and 100,000 people.

The emergency shelter center is in the Azadi Stadium is equipped with essential supportive services including tents, logistic equipment and relief storage spaces.

Historical records show that Tehran has been jolted by a devastating quake every one-hundred years, but it is now over a hundred and twenty years that no major quake has hit the capital, a further source of concern for the residents of Tehran who are fearfully waiting for an impending quake to happen at any moment.

Iran is criss-crossed with fault lines and is regularly hit by earthquakes, experiencing at least one slight tremor every day on average.
