Today’s show talks about the basis for the status of Jerusalem as Holy Capital of Israel and The Jewish People..a historical and biblical basis that harks back thousands of years.

Marty also talks about the dangers of giving in to ill-founded claims on Jerusalem by Islam, why, in fact they want to conquer once again this oh-so-holy city from her rightful owners–the Jews of the world.

In response to listeners’ questions, Marty also explains the Jewish concept of Messiah, (May He Come Speedily in Our Days!!!!) Using the book, the “Mishna Torah” of The Rambam, Rabbi Mosese ben Maimon (Maimonides), Marty explains just what to expect when the REAL Messiah gets here.

Also, more disappointment for lovers of peace and justice in the world…the London Conference, held yesterday, aimed at recruiting aid and support for the palestinians concluded with the following dismal results:

1. $1.2 billion(!) to the palestinians, with no accountability whatsoever required

2. No demands, or even REQUESTS for the new palestinian leadership to actively fight terror

3. More demands, stated and un-stated, on Israel to relinquish territory and compromise on her security

Without a doubt, anti-semitism is increasing throughout the world…synagogue torchings are becoming routine, Jews in Germany are advised not show signs of their Jewishness in public…France witnesses anti-semitic acts on a daily basis.

What does this all mean? Why is this happening? Is there a message to be gleaned from these seemingly random acts of hatred and violence?

The United States Senate confirmed Condoleeza Rice as the new US Secretary of State. The vote ended 85 to 13 in favor. Rice replaces outgoing State-Head, Colin Powell, who resigned from office shortly following President George W. Bush’s election to a second term in the White House.

After meeting with the new Secretary of State, the Israeli Foreign Minister, Sylvan Shalom, indicated that a visit to the Middle East by Rice could be imminent.

On today’s show, Marty talks about some fads that are taking today’s youth by storm….some OK, and some VERY NOT OK!!!! Both “cutting” and “knitting” are in the news in the modern western world.

With the encouragement and support of twenty-something media stars, and wide internet and press coverage, our youth are taking up self-mutilation as a new hobby, as well as a method of escape from the “pressures” of life. Marty Roberts sees this as somewhat of an alarming development, and ponders what this might have to say about the current religious/moral state of our society.

The bizarre tattooing craze has already made itself felt world-wide, even here, in Israel. Perhaps using the human body as an art canvas is less alarming than carving it up like raw meat, but it is no less forbidden by both Jewish and Christian Law:

The verse from the Torah/Bible is:

Leviticus 19:28 — “Do not cut your bodies for the dead, or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the LORD”

The Jewish religion views the human body as a holy vessel, on loan to its user, to temporarily house the Human Spirit during its brief time on this earth. It is fully expected that this body will be returned to its owner in the same condition in which it was received!!

And what about the deranged German so-called artist that makes art out of preserved human corpses?????

Marty has something to say about THAT, also!!

Less disturbing, perhaps even encouraging is another trend that is grabbing teenage boys in both
America and Israel…KNITTING!!!!

Can yarn and knitting needles REALLY be a powerful “chick-magnet”??? Maybe so!!!

….And WHAT Redemption of The Jewish People???

Sometimes it is not “politically correct” to tell the truth, especially when the subject is religion. Marty Roberts doesn’t pull his punches, or worry about “P-C-ness” when it comes to life-and-death topics, like the religion of Islam, which seems to be at the root of much, if not ALL of the world’s terror today. (THE greatest threat facing the free world today??)…Not to mention the only threat to the existence of the State of Israel and the Jewish People!!!!

Common Misconceptions About Islam:

1. Islam is a religion of peace, and is NOT ANTI-JEWISH —- FALSE!!!! Islam has ALWAYS been a violent and military movement..Mohammed conducted 74 military campaigns, unifying Arab tribes with war and assasination or exile of Jews..

2. Islam is just a religion —- FALSE!!!! It has NEVER been JUST a religion, it has always been a political organization…with the goal of unifying all the Arab tribes, with their ultimate international expansion to world domination..

3. Mosques are only a sacred place of worship —- FALSE!!!! (again) Mosques have always been political and social centers, as well. They have been used historically (as well as today) for military plotting and radical political organization..

4. Jihad is not a practice of Islam, but only of a few radicals — WRONG!!!! Jihad is a TENET of Islam, practice by Mohammed himself–MILITARY Jihad, violent conquest of infidel nations… not some ethereal, spiritual conceptual Jihad…death and military victory!!! This is the exemplar of behavior for every believing Moslem..

5. Islam and Democracy are compatible — With all due respect to George W….ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Democracy and Islam are contradictory terms. Sharia, or Islamic religious Law, is the goal of Islam. Just see the “Ideal” in practice, whether in Saudi Arabia, Iran or Afghanistan.

Many Jews living in luxury (although in exile) in the Western World are asking, “How can it be that the Final Redemption of the Jewish People is taking place now? How can you suggest that we come home to Israel, our homeland, when things over there are OBVIOUSLY SO BAD, so un-redemption-like???

Kofi Anan of the United Nations

While Kofi Annan visits Israel, are United Nations Forces pursuing “Peace” or “Pieces”??? Has the UN outlived its mandate? Are they doing more harm than good these days???

Accompanied by a flurry of Israeli concession-announcements, Kofi Annan, Secretary-General of the United Nations is visiting Israel as part of the hoopla surrounding the opening of the new Holocaust Museum at Yad VaShem in Jerusalem.

Marty describes the UN secretary’s greeting by the palestinians in Ramallah, and attempts to remind Mr. Annan that he has some more important business to take care of (more important than trying to force Israel to make suicidal concessions to the Arabs)…such as stopping his organization’s employees from raping and pillaging the African continent!!!

A sordid tale of United Nations employees involved in child pornography, rape and sexual exploitation, all under the guise of their “peace-keeping” missions in Africa. Truly shocking…

Also, should little Jordanian Arab, Yitzhak Rabin be allowed to live permanently in Israel?
