Barak Obama’s Middle East Policy Speech…Has The American President Completely Lost Touch With Reality?
Written by Marty Roberts on May 20, 2011 – 11:25 am -He has to be either ignorant and uninformed, totally naive…or totally hostile to America’s best allies in the Middle East …

That’s the only possible explanation for the content of his policy speech at the US State Department yesterday.
How can he possibly call for the establishment of a hostile, terrorist state on Israeli land, while returning Israel to the in-defensible pre-1967 “Auschwitz” borders?
How can he expect Israel to make peace with the Hamas/Fatah/Iran terrorist entity now unified in their leadership of the Palestinian Authority…a united administration sworn to Israel’s destruction in both word and deed?
How can America pour massive sums of US taxpayer-dollars into countries like Egypt and Tunis, after causing the ouster of US-friendly leaders, soon to be replaced by Islamist, Jihadist Moslem Brotherhood governments?
How can Obama call for the downfall of Arab leader after Arab leader, but not do so for Syria’s Assad, who is murdering hundreds of his own citizens on a daily basis?
Plus…U.S Congressional leaders on both sides of the aisle call for an immediate halt to American aid to the Palestinian Authority…
And…Former Muslim radical Tawfik Hamid writes:
“The Arab-Israeli conflict is NOT about borders, but about the EXISTENCE OF ISRAEL.”

“Democratic” Revolutions in the Arab Middle East May Well Be the End of the Road for Christianity in the Region

Iran, Iraq, the Palestinian Authority…All have experienced and continue to perpetuate ethnic cleansing of their Christian populations once the “democratic” revolutions have taken place…Why expect anything different in Egypt, Yemen, Jordan or Tunisia?…
And…Although only 1500 Jews remain in Tunisia, they fear for their safety as synagogues beef up protection in light of anti-Jewish demonstrations in the streets following the ouster of THEIR autocratic leader, Ben Ali…
Also…Rabbi Shmuley Boteach urges the Pope to promote “Shabbat Dinners” amongst his Catholic followers…This, as Rabbi Boteach promotes his new book about pop icon Michael Jackson, who, in Boteach’s words, “was a family man with strong values and love for his children”…Huh???
Plus…The Israeli public votes “National Religious” as the group that contributes most to the Israeli Army…
How about topless female barber(ettes) in Tel Aviv…
And President Barak Obama receives another letter calling for clemency for Jonathan Pollard…This time from a Jewish Rabbi…who happens to be First Lady Michelle Obama’s FIRST COUSIN!!!

“The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the Root of All the Problems in the Middle East”…WRONG!!!
Written by Marty Roberts on February 7, 2011 – 11:24 am -Another Middle Eastern myth…busted…
The rioting, revolution and unrest in the Arab Middle East is at the top of most newscasts these days…and with good reason.
The potential outcome of regime change in pro-Western, Israel-tolerating Arab nations, like Egypt and Jordan, may, indeed, be earth-shattering. The likelihood of some REALLY bad guys (the Muslim Brotherhood) taking control of the largest Arab country in the Middle East (Egypt), not to mention this anti-American, Israel-hating militant group taking control of the largest, strongest, American-built Army in the Middle East is more than scary…think, ARMAGEDDON…
But one key point stands out amidst all the turmoil…
Did you notice, not once, ever, any time, anywhere has the issue of the palestinians been even whispered in connection to the Arab discontent in the region…not even ONCE…
The truth is, the Arab world could not care less about the “plight” of their palestinian “brethren”…witness the lack of true aid to the people, other than supporting the families of murderers of Jews…witness the lack of support for true peace with Israel, which can only help the Arabs living in Israel. The palestinian issue is conveniently used as an excuse for the Arab nations’ hatred of the Jewish State and their plans for her destruction.
General Petraus, the US State Department and President Barak Obama and Co. might want to reconsider their fantasy-based Middle East policy. Their presumption that all will be fine and dandy in the Middle East just as soon as the Israeli-palestinian conflict is resolved is a very BIG mistake. They are putting all their eggs in the wrong basket, basing the entire Western world’s Middle East policy on a gigantic error.
Time for the West to wake up to reality…things are not always what they seem to be…or necessarily what you WANT them to be…no matter how much wish them to be that way…

The Roadmap to Peace:Ariel Sharon’s Red Lines
Written by Marty Roberts on August 26, 2010 – 8:43 am -Ariel Sharon’s 14 Road-Map “Red Lines”
When the Israeli Cabinet voted in favor of the Road Map in May, 2003, made it contingent upon 14 “comments” that Israel submitted to the Americans. The exact wording of the resolution:
“The Government of Israel… resolves that all of Israel’s comments, as addressed in the [Bush] Administration’s statement, will be implemented in full during the implementation phase of the Road Map.”
Emphasizing the importance of these 14 reservations, the Prime Minister called them:
“red lines beyond which we cannot and will not withdraw.”
Here are the 14 “Red Lines”
You be the judge as to whether or not they have been fulfilled!!!
1) There must be no terrorism during the process. The Palestinians will dismantle the existing security organizations and will form new organizations to combat terror, violence and incitement (incitement must cease immediately and the Palestinian Authority must educate for peace).
In the first phase of the plan and as a condition for progress to the second phase, the Palestinians will complete the dismantling of terrorist organizations (Hamas, Islamic Jihad, the Popular Front, the Democratic Front, Al-Aqsa Brigades and others) and their infrastructure, collect all illegal weapons and transfer them to a third party, cease weapons smuggling and weapons production inside the Palestinian Authority, activate the full prevention apparatus and cease incitement. The security plans to be implemented are the Tenet and Zinni plans. [As in the other mutual frameworks, the Roadmap will not state that Israel must cease violence and incitement against the Palestinians].
2) Full performance will be a condition for progress between phases and for progress within phases. The first condition for progress will be the complete cessation of terror, violence and incitement. Progress between phases will come only following the full implementation of the preceding phase. Attention will be paid not to timelines, but to performance benchmarks (timelines will serve only as reference points).
3) The emergence of a new and different leadership in the Palestinian Authority within the framework of governmental reform; this is a condition for progress to the second phase of the plan. New elections for the Palestinian Legislative Council.
4) The Monitoring mechanism will be under American management.
5) The character of the provisional PA state will be determined through negotiations between the Palestinian Authority and Israel. The provisional state will have provisional borders and certain aspects of sovereignty. It will be fully demilitarized, will have only police and internal security forces of limited scope and armaments, and will not have authority to undertake defense alliances or military cooperation. Israel will control the entry and exit of all persons and cargo, as well as of its air space and electromagnetic spectrum.
6) Declared references must be made to Israel’s right to exist as a Jewish state and to the waiver of any right of return for Palestinian refugees to the State of Israel.
7) The end of the process will lead to the end of all claims, and not only the end of the conflict.
8/ The future settlement will be reached through agreement and direct negotiations between the two parties, in accordance with the vision outlined by President Bush in his 24 June address.
9) There will be no involvement with issues pertaining to the final settlement. Among issues not to be discussed: settlement in Judea, Samaria and Gaza (excluding a settlement freeze and illegal outposts), the status of the Palestinian Authority and its institutions in Jerusalem, and all other matters whose substance relates to the final settlement.
10) The removal of references to UN Resolution 1397, the Saudi Initiative and the Arab Initiative adopted in Beirut. A settlement based upon the Roadmap will be an autonomous settlement that is valid on its own. The only possible reference should be to Resolutions 242 and 338, and then only as an outline for the conduct of future negotiations on a permanent settlement.
11) Promotion of the reform process in the Palestinian Authority: a transitional Palestinian constitution will be composed, a Palestinian legal infrastructure will be constructed and cooperation with Israel in this field will be renewed. In the economic sphere: international efforts to rehabilitate the Palestinian economy will continue. In the financial sphere: the American-Israeli-Palestinian agreement will be implemented in full as a condition for the continued transfer of tax revenues.
12) The deployment of IDF forces along the September 2000 lines will be subject to the absolute quiet noted above, and will be carried out in keeping with the new circumstances and needs.
13) Subject to security conditions, Israel will work to restore Palestinian life to normal: promote an improved economic situation, cultivation of commercial connections, encouragement and assistance for the activities of recognized humanitarian agencies. No reference will be made to the Bertini Report as a binding source document within the framework of the humanitarian issue.
14) Arab states will assist the process through the condemnation of terrorist activity. No link will be established between the Palestinian track and other tracks (Syrian-Lebanese).

Road Maps and Mini-Road Maps:Road to Peace or Road to Hell
Written by Marty Roberts on August 26, 2010 – 8:36 am -Lebanese ex-Prime Minister Hariri was killed today, along with at least nine others in a huge car-bomb blast in a luxury neighborhood of Beirut. Somehow this doesn’t fit in with the tourism campaign being presented on CNN International. Marty talks about what is happening in his rough, Middle Eastern neighborhood on this evening’s show.
Also, issues arise concerning Jewish identity, while taking for granted living in a Jewish state…..

Renewed Hopes for Peace in The Middle east…Not!!
Written by Marty Roberts on August 23, 2010 – 9:06 am -It Takes Two to Tango….Is Peace REALLY Breaking Out in the Middle East?
In the midst of all the euphoria surrounding yesterday’s four-way Arab-Israel-Peace-and-love-fest, Marty takes a look at what is REALLY being said over here, in the world’s toughest ‘hood…the Middle East.
…And while no one was paying much attention, the Israeli Knesset Finance Committee slipped by a bill authorizing the Israeli government to forcibly remove some 9000 Jews from their long-time homes in Israel!! Worse still, the law was squeaked through by virtue of one vote, that of an anti-Zionist, Israeli Arab.

Is Armageddon on the horizon in the Middle East???
Written by Marty Roberts on August 4, 2010 – 12:00 pm -
Marty is asking questions on today’s show…
Is Armageddon on the horizon??? For exactly WHAT are the United States and Israel militaries training jointly right now??? How, when and by whom is the Iranian nuclear nightmare scenario going to be ended???
Also…Just WHO has the right to decide what the capital of Israel is?…Marty doesn’t really think that it should be Egypt, Jordan, or EVEN the United States!!!
Also, more natural (super-natural?) disasters…earthquakes, volcanoes, tidal waves…What can it all mean????
Marty talks about these questions and more in this show.

What is the meaning of….

***10,000 missiles pointing at Israel’s northern border from Lebanon?
***Joint U.S.-Israel military exercises simulating massive missile attacks?
***Russia’s sale of nuclear fuel to Iran, due to be delivered April, 2005?
***Pakistani admissions of a sale of nuclear equipment to Iran?

***British newspapers reporting that Israel has already approved a strike on Iran…the training is underway?
***U.S. president, George Bush is supporting European proposals for “incentives” to Iran to end its nuclear program?
***Iran answering “no-way, no-how will we EVER end our nuclear program?
***The fact that the Jewish tradition holds that this world will exist for 6,000 years, at which time the “final scenario” will take place?
***The fact that we are in the year 5,765 of the Jewish calendar?

In the Middle East, Things Are RARELY What They Seem to Be
Written by Marty Roberts on June 15, 2010 – 1:25 pm -Podcast: Play in new window | Download
Lovers of Peace…Be Careful What You Wish For!!…
New Show/Podcast!!!
Israel’s Arab neighbors are indifferent to the possibility of a nuclear-armed Iran, right? WRONG!!…And they are ready to help arch-enemy ISRAEL stop the mullahs,,,
The palestinians are united in their desire for a new homeland…of course!!…Wrong again…Listen to the facts and the historical reasons why…
All of the nations of the Middle East (except Israel, of course) are united in their desire to support the palestinians and have them achieve their goal of an independent state…Well, right…except that NONE of them want it to happen!!!…Listen to understand why the Middle East countries would like nothing better that to NEVER see the creation of a palestinian state, Islamist or otherwise (with the possible exception of Syria, who simply could not care less one way or the other)
Finally, everyone would agree that the blockade on Gaza MUST be removed…Gaza MUST be opened up, correct?…Well, yes, everybody, that is, except for the countries in the MIddle East, like Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and, oh yeah, don’t forget the ruling palestinian Fatah Party themselves.
So, if you really want peace, if you really hate war…better be careful about your campaign to open up Gaza…Better be careful about allowing the current delicate balance of power in the Middle East to be upset…In short…Pray for Israel’s strength…

McDonalds Halal Burgers Designated to be Future Archeological Finds
Written by Marty Roberts on April 11, 2010 – 2:28 pm -McDonalds has decided to break into the Muslim Middle East market in a big way, but that necessitated making their burgers “halal”…the Islamic equivalent of kosher.
Only problem is, whatever it is that makes up their halal burgers, fries and pies (I can only guess) decomposes at the same rate that plastic does…meaning…
Bury your McDonalds leftovers in the ground…then go ahead and dig them up again 500 to 1000 years from now…they will STILL be there, along with the plastic packing materials they came in…
“You deserve a break today…” (Do they still use that old theme???)
Halal Or Not, McDonald’s Food Won’t Decompose Faster Than Plastic Bags
New disturbing news about the McDonald restaurant chains that have found themselves in practically every Middle Eastern country except for Syria and Iran:
Reprinted from Green Prophet
With plans to set up a worldwide composting program, the Mc-company canned its plans after learning that its food scraps simply will not decompose. Well, not for the next 500 or 1,000 years at least. This fact was confirmed by scientists, and reported on the environment news site Grist. According to reports, not a single item on the Mickie D’s menu is disposable.
Scary or what?
If that plan would have worked, McDonald’s could have kept more than 1.5 billions tons of food from landfills every month, in their bright green composting bins.
Some smart and savvy scientists at the University of California-Berkeley found out though, that none of the McDonald’s food (fries, burgers and pies) would actually decompose over the next 500 years, or even 1,000 – the lifespan of a plastic bag.
Now incineration and outer-atmospheric storage is on their agenda. Can we suggest that scientists find a catalyst to decompose it faster, or even better suggest a way to ban the stuff forever. I have fallen prey to a (kosher non-cheese) Big Mac attack now and again, but would probably be a better (and healthier) person if no McDonald’s were in sight. Food pollution for your body and the environment.
Greenpeace, alas, finds the news to be “extremely disturbing.”

What About the JEWISH Refugee Problem in the Middle East?
Written by Marty Roberts on February 22, 2010 – 9:08 am -The whole world talks about palestinian refugees, but what about the almost one million JEWISH refugees from Arab countries in the Middle East? who is worrying about their rights? Their compensation?…

Israeli lawmakers are seeking a law that will make compensation for Jewish refugees expelled from Arab countries after 1948 an integral part of any future peace negotiations.
Lawmakers put together a bill demanding compensation on behalf of current Jewish Israeli citizens, who were expelled from Arab countries after Israel was established in 1948, leaving behind a significant amount of valuable property.
Originally submitted almost a year ago to the Knesset, the bill passed its first hearing two weeks ago. Now various interest groups are pushing the bill with the Knesset’s 120 members before it is subjected to a second and third hearing next week.
The bill was sponsored by MK Nissim Ze’ev (Shas) and follows a resolution passed in the US House of Representatives in 2008, calling for refugee recognition to be extended to Jews and Christians similar to that extended to Palestinians in the course of Middle East peace talks.
