This is How Palestinian TV Indoctrinates Children to Hate Jews…Peace Partners, Indeed (click headline to view video)
Written by Marty Roberts on June 27, 2010 – 3:16 pm -How can there be ANY hope of peace whatsoever with the palestinians if they continue to indoctrinate their people…including children…to mindlessly hate Jews?
…And I challenge you to show me anything comparable being done by Israelis to breed hatred for palestinians…

Turkish TV Lies Are Managing to Outrage Even the Palestinians They Are Trying to Crusade For
Written by Marty Roberts on April 7, 2010 – 10:10 am -Turkey has managed to outrage not only her alleged friend, Israel, but also the palestinians whose cause they are so lamely trying to support.
The Turkish TV series was offensive enough to Israel to cause a diplomatic crisis, especially in the worsening atmosphere between Israel and Turkey. This is against the background of Turkey becoming more and more radically Islamicist and their embracing of terrorist camp Syria and Ahmedinijad in Iran.
But not only was the lie-ridden TV series unacceptable to the Israeli government, it has stimulated outrage from palestinian groups up to and including the Palestinian Authority. Seems they do not appreciate their women being portrayed as raped by Israeli soldiers and prison guards…especially when they are NOT being raped by Israeli soldiers and prison guards.
A rare moment of truth revealed in Israeli/palestinian relations…
Anti-Israel TV show angers Palestinians
Female prisoners outraged by IDF soldiers’ “rape” scenes
Reprinted from Jpost.com Khaled Abu Toameh
Even the Palestinians are opposed to an anti-Israel Turkish television series that is being aired these days on two popular Arab satellite networks. The 13-episode Separation: Palestinian in Love and in War (Cry of Stones) is about a Palestinian family that leaves for a vacation to Jordan, only to return to a home that had been demolished by the IDF.
The drama, which was first broadcast on Turkey’s state television last October, depicts IDF soldiers as cold-blooded murderers and rapists.
The Turkish drama, which has strained relations between Turkey and Israel, has also enraged many Palestinians, especially female prisoners held in Israeli jails.
The inmates are particularly outraged over scenes showing IDF soldiers “raping” a Palestinian women.
“This film defames the female prisoners and their struggles in occupation prisons,” the prisoners said in a statement. “We call on the producer of this Turkish drama to apologize to the Palestinian people for the scene which shows Israeli soldiers raping a Palestinian female prisoner called Miriam.”
The statement said that the scene has nothing to do with reality. They also condemned the scene where the family of the “rape victim” kills her upon her release from Israeli jail.
“Palestinian families have always embraced their daughters when they are released from prison,” the women said. “We see this [drama] as an attempt to defame the image of Palestinian female prisoners and as a public insult to the Palestinian people. This film serves only the occupation.”
The statement strongly denied the accusation made in the Turkish series according to which Palestinian women are raped in Israeli prisons.
“Those who think that a Palestinian female prisoner is raped when she’s arrested are living in an illusion and are mistaken,” the female prisoners said. “There has never been such a case. Nor have we heard of a Palestinian family that killed their daughter after her release.”
The women also called on the Saudi-owned MBC network to stop broadcasting the Turkish series immediately.
Palestinian Authority officials have also expressed outrage over the drama, dubbing it “offensive” and “detached from reality.”

“The Office”, Israeli-Style, is on the Way to the Holyland
Written by Marty Roberts on February 22, 2010 – 3:45 pm -I can’t wait to get another dose of one of my favorite comedy shows on TV, here, in Israel…I wonder how the flavor of the show will change?…The workplace here, in Israel, is nothing like that in America.
Waiting with baited breath…

Original cast of The Office: Ricky Gervais, Lucy Davis, and Martin Freeman.
By Haaretz Service
The show, created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, will be named Super Office and will be set in central Israel, near Tel Aviv. Actor Avi Meshulam will be stepping into the shoes of character David Brent, originally portrayed by Gervais.
The Office has been remade in France, Russia and the United States, where it has turned into a hit, starring Steve Carell.
According to reports, in the Israeli version Gareth becomes Yariv, and Tim and Dawn become Yossi and Dana.
The show also includes a character named Abed, described as “an intellectual Arab with a gentle soul,” and Abba, who is Ethiopian.
“I am thrilled and amazed that Israel is making The Office with local writers, directors and actors,” Gervais was quoted as saying. “I mean, who ever heard of Jewish entertainers?”
